Most possibly. It would just take a simple disassemble of the Stone Evo code and add a check for a special item.

No need to turn it back. The idea is turning Shellder into an item, so Slowpoke can evolve. Only that.
Before taking Shellder, if he is holding a King's Rock, the Shellder item returned will turn Slowpoke into Slowking.
If not, the Shellder item will turn Slowpoke into Slowbro.
Is this check for King's Rock possible before taking Pokémon and giving an item accordingly?

Hmm well idk if he would turn it back. You can do that, but I wouldn't recommend it.

So probably just talking to someone that "turns" a Shellder into an evolutionary stone by taking Pokémon away and giving an item back for it. Like that?

No I don't believe it would be possible.

Is it possible to change the Pokémon into an item via Storage System?
And making the Pokémon disappear afterwards?
And the opposite? Placing the item back would return the Pokémon?
The opposite is just to make it good for other people. I'm content with only Pokémon>Item thing.

The item idea, is not at all a bad idea. Very easy to do, and if people really want they can mass produce the item by farming Shellder so then they wont have to worry about having too many useless Pokemon in their pc.

No rush. I thought about another way, not a good one, but would work.

We could create an item named Shellder and give it the properties of an evolutionary stone.
Then, there could be a way of turning a captured Shellder into the item, and then deleting the Pokémon form the Party.

Or by talking to someone that could take Shellder (Pokémon) and give Shellder (Item). That is very much doable and simple.

But I don't like the idea of having to talk to someone to evolve my Pokémon.

Maybe it could be done via the Pokémon Storage System, when you Withdraw Pokémon, you get Shellder normally, but if in the Withdraw Item you pick Shellder, a Shellder item would be created in your bag, and the Pokémon would disappear. Anyways, that's just an idea.

I don't know if this PSS Pokémon-Item idea is possible, but it's doable in the "talking to a person" idea.
I know it's a poor idea, but what do you think? Maybe it's easier than checking the Evolutonary Stones routine.

No problem man. Hey, kearnseyboy6 said something that took my attention.
Stone evolutions cannot be cancelled. Do you know how that works? Implementing this in Slowpoke's evolution would be a fix for the Shellder gone if it's cancelled...

I see... Could you help me with other stuff too?
Just get me going, and I can probably finish stuff at least by trial-and-error.
I wanna make all Natures behave like Docile, or to all Pokémon to be Docile as default Nature.
I also want to know some stuff about what comes of a breeding and Egg Groups.
    Can you help?

You need to get the program ida pro to open them. But it costs like $60 irc.
And yea, it doesn't delete the held item.

Someone around the site told me about IDAs, but after I downloaded it, I didn't know how to open it.
What item routine you made? The one you sent me? Something wrong with that?

Well its not really something you can teach, I just open up one of the ida databases for FR or EM and browse around till I find what I need, or I creat a breakpoint via vba and backtrack from there.

And I didn't even think of how the game does that. It may be something worthwhile to look into to be able to fix the Item routine I made, otherwise you will keep the item no matter what.:P
