March 18th, 2016 9:30 PMgimmepieI don't know what he does or who with, I haven't seen the man since I was a child haha.
Probably yes. -
March 18th, 2016 9:24 PMSomewhere_if the people he is doing stuff with dont know, thats evil. like downright despicable.
its ok. i think its famous for the stairs and umbrella scene tho -
March 18th, 2016 9:16 PMgimmepieHe's not an idiot (to the best of my knowledge) and it would be illegal not to I think.
I need to give that a proper watch, I've only seen parts of it. -
March 18th, 2016 8:57 PMSomewhere_i feel sorry for those men and women. i sincerely hope uses protection.
My grandmother (who is white) used to get so tan when she was in her 20's that she would be asked out by African-American guys. And she was married. Its not their fault, I guess she looked like a hot black woman way back when lol. I have so many weird stories about my family...
Its Another. its not that scary so far but really gory at parts, and sorta creepy too. -
March 18th, 2016 8:37 PMgimmepieI have an uncle with HIV and a tendency to do naughty things with both men and women. I learned that as I got older but otherwise no, not really.
Horror anime <3 -
March 18th, 2016 11:56 AMSomewhere_well, its a scholarship thing lol. I actually dont pay money from my own pocket.
Good joke lol- I almost fell for it lol, then I saw the :P Thank you! xD
Now I can finally rest! ya! I might watch some horror anime my cousin's boyfriend recommended to me. My cousin visited last night from college with her boyfriend.
This reminds me. Does your family have weird stories and stuff that you begin learning about as you get older because its sort of hidden, or just isn't brought up in conversation? For example, apparently I have a great uncle that is in prison for killing someone (DUI). There are so many weird things in my family lol. -
March 17th, 2016 8:54 PMgimmepie"This seems to be my two days. I just found out i was excepted into an economics program at a college, and I can go for free."
and you claim not to like socialism lol :P
Congratulations though! -
March 17th, 2016 12:19 PMSomewhere_ok.
Thanks! xD
This seems to be my two days. I just found out i was excepted into an economics program at a college, and I can go for free. -
March 16th, 2016 8:25 PMgimmepieDon't take this the wrong or anything mate, but I honestly cannot be bothered having this debate for the 1500th time right now xD
That's excellent news about the bowls though! Well done! -
March 16th, 2016 12:34 PMSomewhere_You forget its not just the government giving money. Its also regulations on small business (in the US, we have over 15,000). Its also the government leasing land to certain companies instead of having people properly own the land (for example, oil).
If companies charged too much, no one would buy from them and competitors would spring up, and in a free market, there isn't the government preventing people from starting small businesses like now. Small businesses struggle a ton because of this and give the big businesses an advantage.
A company cannot gain a monopoly without fair prices and paying their workers a fair amount, even then its nearly impossible without some sort of natural advantage.
Can you please explain how a monopoly can form? And how they can somehow gain enough capital to buy someone off? And how they can continue charging high prices and paying low wages without being beaten by competitors? And can you please further explain the "Murdoch media" and how it was no government intervention (i am ignorant on the murdoch media)
My club sold ALL of our bowls! It was highly successful! Much more than I expected! And we gained over $500 to feed the homeless! :D woohoo! -
March 15th, 2016 7:20 PMgimmepieA market unchecked by the government allows for companies to grow to enormous sizes. The fact that they can charge whatever the hell they want and people will essentially be forced to pay it only helps with this. Governments aren't thrusting money down the throats of companies they don't own and even now we still have non-government companies that basically own everything in places. That's how the "Murdoch media" happened.
Well that's excellent then. Don't feel forced though, do as you wish.
Awesome! -
March 15th, 2016 7:14 PMSomewhere_yes we do. Its impossible because a company cannot gain enough capital to buy out every other company. its impossible without subsidies from the government. am i missing something? how does a free market create monopolies?
i have another person who okay want to do it, but idk if I want to get active in the PC nation. i dont think its a good idea, but I'm getting drawn in...
Its exciting! Its really encouraging me to start posting more often! ill start to branch out more like i used to when i get back into pokemon. -
March 15th, 2016 7:00 PMgimmepieA "free market" does create monopolies. Do we really need to have this debate again? lol
Anyway to create a party or join you just need to be an active participant in the event. A party needs multiple people before a thread can start for it though. If you'd rather just pop in on occasion, that's totally okay too though we call those people "independents" xD
I'm really happy about all the activity at the moment :D -
March 15th, 2016 2:57 PMSomewhere_Dang. The round table is booming suddenly! Its been kinda slow up until the past few days, whats up with that?
And this party system is interesting. And I would like to give you a suggestion to your Socialist Party:
I can understand regulating big corporations, but the definition of a corporation is a business that receives government funds and such to gain a monopoly. And big corporations, or at least big businesses, lobby for increased regulation because it gives them a monopoly because they know in a truly free market that monopolies cannot be created or be sustained without government intervention.
I would just revise that to remove all government funds towards any company to prevent monopolies because regulations only hurt competitors and small businesses. But take it or leave it lol. :D
Also how does one create a party, and how much time would be required to invest in it approximately? i dont want to be involved if its too much time, and I'm already on the fence about not being involved in the PC Nation... -
March 15th, 2016 12:44 PMSomewhere_Sometimes I feel bad if I use a cheap strategy lol. I feel like I'm cheating myself out of legit wins haha, and annoying nice people.
My favorite teams are the ones where I use the pokemon I like, not necessarily whats good. And I make it work (for example my pelipper doubles team was awesome lol).
ok! Ill be late though because my family got free movie tickets and we are going to see the new hunger games movie. Idk if it will be good because I disliked the 2nd and 3rd books when I read them in middle school. But it will be fun, and thats what matters I guess. Especially because I dont see my dad all the time. Its usually like 5 minutes a day, if that. And a bit more on the weekends if I can hang out at all.
