August 16th, 2015 1:24 PMSomewhere_lol :)
The dev team is Undead Labs, who did the popular zombie game, state of decay. -
August 16th, 2015 1:00 PM£Still more up to date than me tho!
That sounds kinda cute heh. I feel like it's good that Steam etc has given such a rise to independent developers and well, has offered a lifeline for a lot of people who want jobs in game development but can't join the companies that have a chokehold on the market! -
August 15th, 2015 4:04 PMSomewhere_Same lol. This was months ago haha! I haven't played competitive in forever.
Im usually a cheap person too, but the game looked waaayyy too good. And the dev team is so nice and they actually care about the players. they do streams and accept any ideas- and implement them! They are awesome. In fact, one of the devs actually has his 2 daughters (maybe 5 and 7?) stream, and they are kind of funny lol. -
August 15th, 2015 2:28 PM£this is how up to date I am on tiers: not very, it seems! I remember playing ages ago and seeing them everywhere so I'm not surprised it's Uber!
Sounds kinda interesting anyway, but I'd probably play the free one because I'm a cheapskate like that, haha. -
August 15th, 2015 8:48 AMSomewhere_I thought it was banned to ubers?
Not at all. Its completely different. The only thing similar is capturing/training/battling. The story is that you are a fresh warden, straight out of the academy. You want to prove your worth, so you are assigned assignments by different guild masters in the guilds of each town or city. The world is pretty much in ruins for a lot of the world because of the Moonrise, which turned innocent solari and into evil lunari, which you have to cure. Oh, and the game gets challenging mid-late in the game, and the game is still in beta or something, so they are still updating it and make the game longer. There is a whole competitive side, and you can queue up for ranked matches.
The game is on Steam for $15 or $20! I would recommend the $20 version because it comes with a bunch of goodies! However, keep in mind it will be free to play when it is released. The devs have not released that info yet. -
August 15th, 2015 6:29 AM£It has a lot but Aegislash is all over the place and laughs in the face of the most common sets it carries!
is it an obvious rip-off of Pokémon like this?: http://www.nowgamer.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/battlecamp_pokemon.jpg
Or is this like a proper console game with a proper story which obviously has unique ideas? -
August 14th, 2015 7:36 AMSomewhere_It had everything it needed to counter its counters- sucker punch, fire fang, hard-hitting STABs, sub + focus punch.
Moonrise is similar to pokemon, where you catch solari, which are cured lunari. You battle other wardens (trainers), and complete missions. You save people from the corrupted Lunari. And its real-time, the main character is 22 (i think), and is fully customizable. I can explain further, but I have to go. -
August 14th, 2015 4:27 AM£Being able to switch in with Intimidate then immediately get some crazy base power behind the next attack is glorious. I don't think it's that broken, it's what a mega should be IMO; turning a poor Pokémon into the main threat without completely breaking the game! (The base speed and HP mean poor Mawile doesn't take that much of a beating before biting the dust!)
"Games like that" as in nerdy single player RPGs haha.
What's Moonrise about? Never heard of that one. :) Fallout 3 is a pretty entertaining game and was well ahead of its time. I preferred New Vegas but it's still a decent game. -
August 13th, 2015 4:58 PMSomewhere_Yea, fairy/steel typing is very good. They made the mega a bit too powerful though, but at least mawile got some relevancy in OU for a bit. Its non-mega form is NU I believe, but I dont know the usage stats.
You play games that you like? Makes sense... :P
I like LoL (just recently got into it), CS:GO, and a steam game, Moonrise. I am thinking of buying Fallout 3, actually. -
August 13th, 2015 3:59 PM£Mawile was a perfect example of a perfect buff too. Made it pretty viable!
Umm Final Fantasy, the Tales of Series (Abyss, Xillia), Dark Souls, and games like that I suppose? Haven't played nearly as much as I'd like to, though I'll be getting Fallout 4 when it's out! Any games you're particularly fond of? -
August 13th, 2015 11:31 AMSomewhere_:D Im so sorry wigglytuff. You are a great wall, tanking hits.
Right, or mega rayquaza. I like it when they do weak mons and make them powerful, like pidgeot and bee drill.
Idk, I dont really play sports games. I used to play madden on the wii, like 5 years ago lol.
Never heard of them. What other games do you play? -
August 13th, 2015 10:19 AM£fat is an insensitive word to throw around and i for one feel wailord would be triggered by such a harsh word! plus curves are totally in now mate.
Honestly I'd love a load of megas regardless of what they were. Just not the Pokémon like Mewtwo that clearly don't need to be any more broken!
I'm a bit of an RPG nut by nature. Lately Bloodborne/Dragon Quest 5 have been my go to faves. Is the Basketball one done by EA Sports? They probably release the 2k16 one early too! -
August 12th, 2015 6:27 PMSomewhere_a mega wigglytuff would be hilarious imo. I think it would be as fat as wailord haha. However, I dont want too many megas.
I was still talking about the basketball one. Are you interested in those sports games and sports in general? -
August 12th, 2015 3:11 PM£Fairies need to be more broken then. Maybe have a few more Megas like. Mega Wigglytuff. It's a blimp.
Oh you mean Fifa 2k15? I think 2k16 is almost out... they release them around September the year before! -
August 11th, 2015 7:45 AMSomewhere_Togekiss is flying/fairy or fairy/flying. Its pretty bulky, unfortunately for Garchomp. However, Garchomp does have access to poison jab and stone edge, which I am sure probably one hit KO's after an SD or 2.
No, I didnt. I just wasnt sure if 2k15 had come out yet haha. What I meant is they are all selfish jerks.
Ill try then. :)
