August 6th, 2015 9:02 PMSomewhere_Thats good. at least they can have bragging rights i guess.
lol, yea. I just had this insane game on TT, with this dude. it was SUPER close, like back and forth. we were pushing to the nexus and my battery ran out. it sucked. but at least i made a new friend out of it and i have his Skype now.
the rest of the weekend will be iffy. I probably wont be able to play fri, sat, or sun. -
August 6th, 2015 2:39 PMZoroark CutieThey should. I know why it happens, it's because the item set pages are saved as files, mastery and rune pages and everything else is saved onto your account. I could just save the file incase, but I'm too lazy to.
If I'm not mistaken, Master tier was made in a way to show that you at least made it to Challenger, so that way if you get demoted and don't end up in Challenger by the end of the season then at least you have something to prove that you are.
I had fun playing earlier. That first match though, that was just sad and unfair though XD. -
August 6th, 2015 11:46 AMSomewhere_Riot should really change that so people dont do that.
But to get to master tier, you have to go to challenger. I guess that makes sense that there could be more, but it would also make sense if there was less.
I am updating the game on the desktop, so we should be able to play later. I have been using my laptop, which isn't as good lol. There is always all the time in the world until school starts... -
August 6th, 2015 8:37 AMZoroark CutieI wanna say that it happened when I was making more item build pages, and I was clicking off to go at my match history to check what items I was using recently, and I said no to a pop up that told me that I had item sets that were not save and asked if I wanted to save them and I said no. I thought it was just gonna get rid of the one item page that was not saved , but apparently it got rid of every single one of my item pages.
I don't know. I would imagine there are more in Master than Challenger since the lower the tier, the more players you expect to find with Bronze having the most.
If you can't be online tonight or during the next few days, don't worry. There's always all the time in the world. -
August 5th, 2015 7:39 PMSomewhere_That sucks. How do you think that happened?
Are there even a lot players in Master tier anyways? I doubt it...
Yea, I can't play. I am going to crash. Maybe tomorrow, but idk. These next few days might be a little complicated. -
August 5th, 2015 4:35 PMZoroark CutieI really don't know who is good against Gnar because Gnar is fully ranged. I want to say maybe Gangplank.
I think there is a way for someone to get out of Master tier and back to Challenger, I would imagine they win a lot of matches and get promoted out of it and back into Challenger.
It's okay if you won't be online. Besides I had a pretty bad time with LoL today, all my item builds got deleted and one item that I rely on a lot has been disabled. -
August 5th, 2015 4:21 PMSomewhere_Gnar is such a pain top lane. I played Renekton, so maybe it was a bad match up? I think I just dont know how to beat that champion. Then again, I am not familiar with too many champions.
Thats interesting, but I sort of like that system. It makes challenger exclusive, but it must suck to be kicked out if it. Surely people in master tier can move back up?
also, Idk if I can play tonight. I probably can, but it might be a little difficult. -
August 5th, 2015 4:04 PMZoroark CutieOr on bots :P. I would say wait until he gets reworked and becomes better, then that is when you should play. Gnar is a prehistorical Yordle which is why he is a bit different than the others, it is also why he speaks in another language, a tail, and some fangs. Out of all the Yordle champions, Gnar is my favorite because of how cute he is and he can a menace if built correctly.
Aww thanks ^_^
That is weird. ARAM never takes that long for me to find a match whenever I play it.
LCS is the League Championship Series where teams from each region compete to for the trophy at the end of the championship. The winners get a trophy, their own line of skins, and of course money. Currently it is in the Summer Split and after the Summer Split will be the finals for all regions and the best teams from each region will go to the championship and they battle it out until and the first team to reach a certain score moves on until a winner has been decided. As to why Challenger only has 200 people, I don't know, and Diamond players do strive to get to Challenger which is easier said than done, once a person from Diamond reaches Challenger the lowest performing person in Challenger is kicked out of Challenger and placed into Master Tier, which is between Diamond and Challenger and only people who got into Challenger and then demoted can be placed in Master tier, and the Diamond player gets placed into Challenger. I forgot exactly how Diamond, Challenger, and Master tier all worked. -
August 5th, 2015 3:50 PMSomewhere_I dont think I will ever play Urgot lol, unless its for the laughs with friends or something. I didnt think Gnar would be one because he seems more animal and fearsome (ult) than the rest.
Nah, you aren't toxic at all. That is just kidding around with friends. Or just saying something with frustration, which everyone pretty much does.
ARAM takes me like 5+ minutes, and so does TT. SR isn't as bad.
what is LCS? And why can there only be 200 people in challenger? I am sure there are some Diamonds that are read for that tier? -
August 5th, 2015 9:21 AMZoroark CutieYordles are like these small, cute people in League of Legends. Some of them are champions like the aforementioned Corki, Ziggs, Teemo, Gnar, Lulu, Tristana, and a few more. The male yordles have fur all over them while the females have smooth blue or purple skin with little fur on them (their hair). The main problem with Urgot is that he is a weird champion, kinda like Nidalee in a way, but Nidalee can do any lane pretty well while Urgot will struggle a bit in the lane he is in, he's supposed to be an ADC, but as mentioned by a former LCS player, Imaqtpie, Urgot is everything wrong with an ADC all put together in one champion. If you get a lot of practice as him and you learn him really well, you can cause some massive destruction as Urgot, but you have far better choices. He's gonna get reworked soon, probably next year, and he'll look completely different and have different abilities.
It does get pretty abusive, it just really depends, but I have noticed that the lower the tier a person is the more toxic and abusive they are. Challenger barely has any toxic people (But then again, Challenger can only have 200 players at a time) which are mostly LCS players, former LCS players, and professional streamers. I won't lie, I'm kinda toxic even during some of the match that we did with my friends, I didn't show it in game, I only showed it in the Skype call that me and my friends were in, it is not anywhere close as bad as a lot of other toxic players, it's mostly playfully being toxic like "I swear if you guys take my kills, I will AFK and come right back and start intentionally feeding." or "If you guys call support, I will feed.", the most toxic that I will get is just going "The enemy team is really bad.", "I hate this Ezreal, he is so annoying.", and I will only blame someone if it is just obvious and most of the time it'll be for feeding and I won't do it in the game chat and it is never abusive.
Sometimes finding matches can take a while. It depends on what kind of match you're trying to get into. In my experience Co-op vs. AI matches have only took a few seconds, FGMs will usually take a few seconds to half a minute, ARAM matches took a few seconds to a minute, I haven't played Dominion all that much or Twisted Treeline, but I would imagine that those queues would take the 2nd longest, and SR has varied for me with it being just a few seconds, to a minute, to sometimes 3 minutes, and I know that Ranked matches take a bit longer depending on what tier your in (like some people in Challenger tier may have to wait up to 15 minutes before they can get into a match, sometimes longer.)
Pushing through it is gonna be like pushing a truck with how cruddy my college is. You would think that they would be organized with how small they are, but no, they are barely organized at all. -
August 5th, 2015 8:03 AMSomewhere_I had never heard of the Yordles before this lol. I knew about the champions tho. And I agree, the old sivir's face was really weird. Urgot is ugly and I think most people hate him. My roommate said most people will hate you for using him.
Yea, thats why i said mine wasn't that bad lol. I have heard a lot of players can be really abusive, and it doesnt seem to stop, no matter what elo they are at. Even Diamond players are like that... Also is it just me, or does finding games take forever, like 5 minutes or more each time?
And transferring is difficult a lot of the time I think. You can push through it! It will teach you patience and perseverance, characteristics you may need later in life. -
August 4th, 2015 10:40 PMZoroark CutieI so far like most champion designs. The only one that I can't stand is Urgot, he's just too yucky looking for me and I kinda don't like Corki's design since he is a male Yordle and he looks nothing like the other male Yordles and his design often makes me forget that he is a Yordle. The only time that I had a real problem with champion designs were some of the older Champion models, like the old Sivir model. Don't look it up, it is really horrifying to look at, even by the old model standards. I love her current model, but her old one is just nightmare fuel.....okay it really isn't, but it is just really ugly looking.
Sometimes some players intentionally feed because they just give up and they don't want to play the match anymore, sometimes they start intentionally feeding when the team doesn't surrender. Honestly you just make yourself look really bad if you intentionally feed. The developers said that only 1% of the player base are toxic, but it almost always feels like it is more than 1%. There are some YT video series that demonstrate how toxic they can be. What you experienced is nothing compared to what I've seen. I do find it funny sometimes, like there was a time last year were people going "I got banned for no reason. I did nothing wrong. Show my the chat logs so that everyone can see that I got banned for no reason.", their chat logs were shown to everyone and sometimes they would go "I didn't say that and it wasn't my fault, I was the victim.". The delusions are too strong for them, but the smites are stronger X3.
I hope that my next semester is not as bad, but I can expect it to be bad because my college sucks. They make me wish that I was at another college. -
August 4th, 2015 8:52 PMSomewhere_Yea, I tried doing that lol. have fun!
Its not horrible, but whatever. I tend to forget about the design in the middle of fights, anyways.
I dont understand why people would intentionally feed though, because it just hurts their rank. Not to mention, it would hurt my pride if I did something like that. I have heard the community is really, really toxic. I tend to run into nice people, but my last ARAM game was kind of bad. I "stole" a health thing because my mana was low, but my health was somewhat good. So, as revenge, my teammate took one purposely at full health and mana just as I needed it. I said in chat something like "why did you do that" and then there was this whole argument about me stealing the health potion because it was unnecessary. I only replied twice, stating it was probably because I was low on mana or a mistake (in case they were referencing another time). Then they said, you still did it. I basically face palmed because they were arguing a separate point altogether and I ignored them the rest of the match.
That really sucks man. I hope you have better luck. and I thought my language teacher was bad... -
August 4th, 2015 8:00 PMZoroark CutieIt's really fun. It'll be unlocked once you reach level 25, not to mention that if you start a team builder lobby (or I think you can become leader of a solo team builder lobby, if that is even possible) then you can choose what lanes you want and what roles you want, although it is best to only do that for bottom lane and you can decline players if you don't like the champs that they selected for their lane. Unfortunately I'm kinda burned out after today, plus I really want to play Omega Ruby, but I'll be online again tomorrow.
They have hem, and the thing she has is a Mantle of Decorum and in the lore it is the highest Ionian decoration which I forgot what it is supposed to show, but I think it for one of the top dogs of Ionia. Irelia also has one.
Morgana is a really good support. If you're a good shot as her and you level up her Q, you can stun enemies long enough to do a lot of damage to them. It also really works well if you have her W. Her shield blocks all, or most, AP based abilities so you can put that on your ADC so that the enemy support doesn't put in some damage on them, and her ult is really good for locking kills. Some of my best matches was when I was a Morgana support.
Well as I said before, not a lot of people play Twisted Treeline and it is not as easy to understand to play as SR, at least in my opinion it isn't, and more people are familiar with SR than TT. Honestly, I would say keep playing ARAM. I love ARAM to death because you get to play as a random champion and it is more chaotic. Here's a cool thing if you haven't seen it yet, when the ARAM map goes back to Howling Abyss, wait until you either win or lose a match on it, but when it says Victory or Defeat don't press continue, instead wait for a bit and the Ice Witch champion, Lissandra, will do a small narration that involves the Freljord, herself, Ashe, Sejuani, and the Watchers. Not all the time will it be the fault of a feeder, I did have some matches where no one did feed, it was just our skill and comp was just not as good. As I mentioned before, there are also toxic players who can drag morale and the team down, it is explained a little bit more in the Teamwork OP video that the developers made almost 2 years ago. You also have drunk (And high) players, insta-lockers (Which are not always terrible), and AFKers. The AFKer one you can't deny since you saw what happened when one of my friends had to AFK when you spectated one of my matches. You also have intentional feeders, which are feeders, but they intentionally feed on purpose, but you can usually tell when there is one, usually if they filled all their item slots with just one item and they run right into enemies and towers. Another problem are bot players, and I don't mean people who play bot lane a lot (like me), I mean people who use bots to play their games, and I had this happen a lot and it made me lose some matches including Co-op vs. AI matches and also you can tell when this also happens because usually a champion who is free for a week, they take Ghost and Heal, their summoner names would have something in common, and generally act like the bots in Co-op vs. AI by doing suicidal moves and backing off and recalling a soon as they reach a certain amount of health. If anything, feeders are not what annoy me because sometimes it is just due to a bad match, but for bots they do annoy me because the problem with bots is that if a period of time comes where bot players run rampant you can possibly end up in the same matches with the same bots over and over and over and you'll constantly lose. And if you're wandering why people do this, well it is to grind to level 30 and IP without playing the game, but most of time is to sell the account and this was especially during this one nasty period during last year, where it was because people were grinding levels and IP and then selling their accounts to gain a lot of money. It has been mostly fixed with the accounts being banned, and anti-cheat and anti-bot stuff being added to the game, but dear lawdy did they ruin an entire month for me on league, them and a group of hackers who took down league servers almost immediately after.
Well I had the same instructor most of the time. Only a few of my classes had a different instructor such as my math, speech (*sigh* I really, really hate speech class. It was useless, I really didn't want to take it, I had to do some speeches and to other people through videos, and I ended up making a speech that I really don't like because of how dumb it was, it was so dumb that even I saw flaws in it), and psychology class. The only thing that was weird and did make me mad about the due dates was that sometimes they changed at the very last minute. On the day of my cousin's wedding day I had an assignment that was due that day and I couldn't make it to the wedding, but as soon as I finished it the due date had changed to 2 days later. It was even worse with my finals during my last semester when they kept changing them the exact day they were due to where they were due by the very end of the day, to being due at the very beginning of the day. Imagine me waking up and ready to do my final and having the whole day to finish it, but I was gonna finish them way before that time comes around, now imagine me waking up and finding out that the time was changed and I was instantly late in turning them in as soon as I woke up. This infuriated me to now end when they did that, and I had to rush all my finals to get them done, not a single one came out good (The instructors might've thought otherwise since I got either an A or a B on them, but I think my answers were garbage), and I literally started crying because I thought that I was gonna fail. -
August 4th, 2015 6:43 PMSomewhere_I need to try that! Ill be online, just invisible if you want to play.
I think I will pick up Karma then, but I just dont like that head thing she has. It sort of bugs me lol. I dont think the skins have them, but I dont really want to get a skin for her lol.
Thresh and Sona are really, really great supports imo. Idk about Morgana.
That sucks. I feel like games are won and lost because one person feeds (at least at my level). Lol, I 1v3 a team in TT with MF and wrecked, like I usually do with her on that map. Idk why tho. I should probably play more summoner's rift than ARAM and TT lol. ARAM is just so addicting tho...
I see. Thats weird, even with different professors for everything to be a week...
