That sounds really interesting! :) I also focus more on micronutrients than macronutrients. I don't really focus much on how much fat, carbs or protein I consume, but I do keep track of my calories. Leafy greens are amazing! I usually blend them with chia or flax seed and wheatgrass or spirulina powder to make extremely nutritious green shakes. It's much easier and quicker to consume that way. Seeds, nuts and beans are great! I also eat a lot of raw whole foods :)

As for meat I mainly eat a little poultry, but I'll have red meat or fish occasionally. I'm not a big fan of spinach unfortunately, but it is good for iron, potassium and I believe fiber. I like ground cacao and I throw that in my fruit smoothies for extra nutrition and flavor. I don't have yogurt very often but if I do it's usually greek yogurt since it's thicker and more filling. I haven't yet tried it with cacao-nibs yet (Will do!). I never eat uncooked eggs lol, aww I'm sorry to know that happens to you =/ Yeah Pineapple contains bromelain which is also used in meat tenderizer. I have a bag of that stuff. :P You can also try papaya which contains the enzyme papain,

I also try to stay fit and healthy. Yummy :D I'll admit I love eating unhealthy processed snacks too. It's no big deal to me, besides I eat healthy, take walks and am thankfully at a healthy weight so I'm pretty proud of my body.

Food and nutrition fascinates me too! I wasn't always in shape. When I was little I was chubby because I ate way too much. Then I learned so much about nutrition and how to lose weight, and I learned soooo much! I since then lost that excess fat and am now at a really healthy weight for my height and body-type! ^^ Btw I also love cooking and exchanging my knowledge with people! I take culinary classes, although I've been since I was like 12.

My gosh! You're really lovely to talk to. Thank you for making my day! :)

You seem to have a nice diet! What do you like to eat most of? I tend to consume a lot of fruits and veggies daily. I've been considering going vegetarian for both health and ethical reasons, but it's a difficult switch for me. I also consume a lot of raw / whole foods. As for fish I personally try to avoid fish and stick to chia seeds for my protein and omega 3s. I'll still consume fish on occasion though :p

I used to chew gum, but I stopped after learning about how bad it is for you, but you're really smart and managed to knock some sense into me so maybe I'll pick some up the next time I go to CVS :D
I try and hit 45% carbs, 30% protein, and 25% fats in my diet currently, but overall.. I place more importance on micronutrients than macros. I tend to struggle with hitting my protein goals but I get more than enough to stay healthy. I eat a lot of fruit and veg, too, especially leafy greens and things high in fiber. I add seeds, nuts, and beans (and peas) to my diet, too (and I feel weird if I don't have some sort of form of them on some day), but I think I wouldn't be able to get enough protein from them alone without massively overeating. I don't have a lot of red meat, but I like poultry and fish. And I pretty much always have spinach to make sure I am getting enough iron.. and it helps that chocolate helps :P.. I do throw in some cocoa-nibs in my yogurt in the morning. I tried eating raw but I find it gives me digestive issues and a lot of bloating. As a further explanation, partially uncooked eggs (soft boiled, for example) gives me horrible gas, and even raw carrots can sometimes feel like they sit like a rock in my stomach, so I reduce the consumption of them or make sure to cook them thoroughly. Recently I've been trying to incorporate some pineapple in my diet because of the digestive enzyme in pineapple to help break down food. I'll have to see in a few weeks how I feel from that.

I generally try and stay healthy. That being said, I did have a few lemon loacker biscuits tonight with some cheese and peanut butter and honey.. (:P.. at least the PB and honey are organic lol!) But it was a bit of overindulgence.. Oops :P..

Food and nutrition really fascinates me.. and while I'm not in any way an orthorexic eater (obsessed with clean eating) I love sharing my knowledge of nutrition and I love discovering new dishes and cuisines of the world~ :3

    How about you??
