It is good that I finally managed to get the Battle Tree Ribbon and it is good I got it with Shinys I caught and a Garchomp received as a Gible from Wonder Trade. :) I had never used Mega Salamence before but it is very powerful.

I got Silver yesterday and the game store gave me the box too which made me feel very nostalgic. Silver holds up very well and is a lot of fun. I picked Chikorita as my starter and try breeding for a Shiny one. :)

    Hello Noa. How are you?

I finally beat the Battle Tree with a team of Mega Salamence, Shiny Lucario, Shiny Tapu Koko and Garchomp. Shiny Salamence had a bad nature (Quiet) but is stilll very strong. Focus Sash Lucario defeated a lot and no flinching with Inner Focus.

I might play through some more to find good Multi partners or play through Silver I'm not sure yet.

To my surprise the Mega Stone for Gardevoir has been released today. :) I don't think I have ever been on Pokemon Showdown. Maybe I need to go on it sometime.

My Shiny Gardevoir is impish which isn't a great nature but will be fun to finally use in Mega Form in Gen 7. She has good stats so I can breed a Ralts with a good nature if I want to use Mega Gardevoir for the singles tree. Unless I get really lucky she will be a normal Gardevoir as I don't have the desire to Masuda Method many eggs again for a Shiny.

I actually caught my Shiny Ralts by accident whilst looking for a Shiny Gothita. Worried it had Teleport or Memento I used my AS Master Ball on her. (It had neither move :0)

I don't really have a preference for any particular type of music but the only type of music I don't like is dance music.

When does it come out? there's actually a format on pokemon showdown that emulates the battle tree, called BSS factory. It's so fun lol
Ahh, i see, what kind of music do you like? :o

I might try training a Gardevoir and hope they release her Mega Stone soon. When you get to Battle 30 it gets a lot more fun as the opposing trainers throw Megas out and have solid teams. In the 40s there's Legendarys everywhere and annoyingly One Hit KO moves. Battles 1 to 20 tend to be less fun though. Hopefully USUM has a more varied post game.

I am afraid I know very little on J Pop.

I can't see myself doing much more Shiny Hunting until USUM.

Competitively speaking my Hatched Shiny Sceptile is probably my best ever Shiny. :) Hidden Power Ice helps get so many KOs in the Battle Tree. He helped me get to my highest ever Battle Tree streak of 48 before a Mega Latios took out my team in Battle 49...one before Blue and a possible Battle Ribbon. Very frustrating but I did get enough Battle Points to get Sceptile to Level 100.

November for USUM. I will probably get the Sun side again. Hopefully more news comes out soon.

Idols? Is that like Pop Idols?

Ohhh, that Sceptile sounds awesome!! :D I havent touched physical games that much myself recently, I'm mainly just waiting for gold and silver on the virtual console which im ridiculously excited about
The new Lycanroc form looks cool! I'm really excited for all the news to come out. The release date is coming up pretty soon though o.o 4 months left and we still dont have too much info, well, it should be exciting.

ive been okay, trying to escape my retail job lol. but other than that just the same old same old pokemon and idols and forums, its fun :)

    Hello Noa. How are you?

I have not been playing the games a lot lately but did manage to Masuda breed an adorable Shiny Treecko. He has a Timid Nature and I got lucky enough for him to have Hidden Power Ice. He is now a Sceptile (Which is a great Shiny) and is in my Battle Tree Doubles Team. I need to use a few bottle caps as the stats aren't as great as I hoped.

I am delighted to have my favourite starter in Shiny Form with the right nature. It only took 320 or so eggs and is only my second Hatched Shiny (After Vullaby). I am not sure I will be Masudaing again for a while though.

I really like the new Lycanroc form we have been shown. Hopefully he has something to separate him from the other two forms.

What have you been up to?

I have never played Pokemon competitively but I have used my Timid Lilligant in the Battle Tree. She has Leaf Storm and Chlorophyll and has White Herb as her item.

It worked well in Doubles and got her a Ribbon. The super level is very tricky though.

Haha it's golden yellow, actually! Have you ever played competitive Pokemon? She's quite good in the NU tier, my most successful team had Lilligant on it

Random Shiny Hunting can be fun and tends to get the biggest reaction. My first ever Shiny was a random Green eyed Shiny Golett in X and I got two random Shiny Gible in the same playthrough.

Congratulations on the Shiny Rattata. It's green if I remember correctly.

Lilligant is indeed a beautiful Pokemon and Own Tempo is useful for Petal Dance abuse,. Chlorophyll is my preferred ability on her though as well as her increased speed it increases the power of her Grass Type moves.

Ohhh, shiny hunting is always fun :) I'm actually shiny hunting for either a shiny hoppip, mareep or wooper in soul silver right now! The funny thing is even though I have those three pokemon as a goal, I still got a shiny rattatta... lol
Lilligant is quite beautiful <3 But own tempo is pretty good, because that means she doesnt get confused after petal dance! and chlorophyll makes her crazy fast in the sun.
