I... hate living in the US. I don't necessarily hate the country per se, however but living here is not for me. People are both super nice and super rude. There are all these assumptions made about other people. We aren't leading a sustainable life and we abuse other peoples. We have people who don't go to the doctor because they can't afford it even if they're sick. Among other issues. I'd love to move some day. Maybe I'll move to Canada or Europe.

But yeah no offense taken. I think Trump won't win and even if he does nothing he wants will get past Congress. That being said he does scare me.

Do you like living in the US? I am curious :3

I really don't want to offend anybody, but that's not a place where I have good vibes about living there... You know, only Imo!! (But yeah Donald Trump doesn't help for the image..)

Oh thanks for the tips! :D

And are you from USA or UK?

I really like the UK accent :3

You almost got Anglicisme! ;)

Yo said it like Anglicismé. But the "e" is silent. Try to say it without the "é" at the end and it's spot on!

Well I mean technically you're in North America. ;D

Yeah I know a lot of people who just don't capitalize regularly so I figured you didn't just because that's how you type. I do agree though that the capitals look better.

You're fine for the "when" we all make mistakes xD

That's the same website used by most people in the accent thread. Also here's my final attempt at d'angliscismes! I can understand the paranoia, hardly anyone is safe nowadays. To be honest most people with cellphones are probably being observed so you're probably right.

Really? I feel like American accents (except those in the northeast of the US) are pretty boring. I can see liking the myriad of British, Irish, Australian, and New Zealand accents but not American ones. They're just so... boring! Although I suppose I love all the French accents too so I can see where you're coming from.

Feedback:
"It sound American?"
You need to add an -ed to sound because you heard the sound in the past. Alternatively you can use the present tense form but then sound needs a -s at the end!

"...the device where you can register yourself."
Device where you can record yourself.

It sound American? well I am not that far from America so yeah I can imagine why you think that!

And yes I love the feedback! ^_^ It will only improve my English!

And yes for the capitalize thing, Honestly, I write (most of time) English and French with a capital, same for the days of the week and a lot of stuff. So I do tend to write them the same way in French and I got some mistakes because we son't do that. (Honestly, it looks way better with a capital letter...)

Oh and yes, the "we I" was supposed to be "When" XD apparently I missed the end of the word XD

Oh and for the device where you can register yourself.. that's pretty cool!
Honestly you sound good! I've seen way worst!! The "anglicisme" can be a tough one if you never heard of this one before. I would totally respond in french to show you how to pronounce the word (and I might have speak in English, that would be funny xD) But I am kinda paranoid with the camera and the microphones. I don't like cellphones as I constantly feel observed and I even have a post-it on the camera.

I feel like everyone who speak English as a native language sound so nice when they got recorded. You know, when we listen to someone talking in a youtube video or stuff like that XD

Me trying to do a "French" accent: http://vocaroo.com/i/s1dZGVbBmtrv (also I think I figured out d'angliscismes after looking at it; it would sound like dong-les-sees-may).

Your accent sounds very American to say the least but if that song's words are comparable to how you sound I'd say you sound better than the Quebecois to me xD.

Well if you feel the same way about English as I do about French I can completely understand wanting some feedback it's so hard. It's much easier to read that to speak/write for me also. Also to be honest when I was younger I messed up right and write all the time too! Anywho, yeah a lot of Europeans I know and a few Quebecois think in English a lot but speak in their native language.

Also some corrections I'll let you know (if you don't want me to tell you then just tell me and I won't :P ):
First of all just if you care about proper spelling place names and languages in English are capitalized. I know in French place names are capitalized so that's probably just how you type but English is also a word that should always be capitalized.

Now for grammatical corrections
"something I found difficult when I was younger was 'right' and 'write'."
Also "We I write I can look back at what I've wrote." I don't quite understand what you mean unless you meant, "When I write..."

Don't worry for the time, we all have a life outside the Forum ;)

My accent isn't really comparable to québec, but it depends of the region. SOme lpaces in Québec speak a bit like us but other places don't :p

That's an example of a singer from m Province.
I HAVE TO WARN YOU this is folklore XD That's not what we listen to all days XD
But it can show you the difference between us and the "real" Fench ;)

Oh and today I learned something XD about Vandertramp :P

Oh and thanks for your feedback on my english! Yeah Than and then do mess me up XD something I found difficult younger was "right" and "write". We I write I can look back at what I've wrote. but when I speak in mess things up and I have a very strong accent and it's really bad XD I make laugh of myself when I talk in english XD SO I don't :p I speak in french as often as I can. But I often think in english, I always watch tv in english, read in english, and I am active here so it's all in english too.

Okay sorry to switch to English but my brain was getting fried by trying so hard to speak French. I promise I'll go back but I just need a bit to chill my brain before I go back. I will respond to everything you said in English though because I did understand it all. Also sorry for late response went to dinner.

I wasn't aware that there were any major French speaking places outside of Quebec I just sort of assumed they were all there or from Quebec. We had a whole section on Quebec during my 5th year of French.

Does your accent sound close to the Quebecois French or is it just entirely something different? Also the anglicisms make sense if you're living in Canada, as far as I can tell the English speaking group pervades a lot of parts of native French-speaking life.

Dr. and Mrs. Vandertramp is something that English speakers are sometimes taught in order to help them remember which verbs in past tense use etre as opposed to avoir.

So I only mess up all my grammar in French? xD Good to know.
Yeah I learned traditional Parisian French so I know you'll just differ in a few ways naturally but I still mess up often enough.
Thanks for the corrections too!

Thank you for the compliment. Your English is pretty good as well! Honestly most of the time I just see awkward wording but not much that is technically incorrect. I did notice once you used "then" when you should've used "than" but that's an easy fix. Than is used when comparing 2 (or more) things other things other than (in this case I was comparing the use of than to the use of then) that you use then in every other case!

I speak really bad in English myself XD I understand everything tho. But I don'T write it well neither. I live in a bilingual province so we have to know how to speak in English :P I have to watch TV in English, speak in English in the mall (as for an example), I speak French but I live in English :P

ZUT!

(Also please correct any mistakes I make, I'd like to get better at French. I hate conjugations and also grammatical genders (and I bet that's where 99% of my problems are)!)
