April 8th, 2016 10:46 AMHikamaruAnother thing I seem to have noticed is people pointing out a noticeable flaw on the album and that's Miles getting around half the singing roles as Alex is. The only tracks I recall that are entirely sung by Miles are Pattern and Bad Habits (I might be missing one other though) while the rest of the album seems to either be him doing some parts while Alex does others, or just Alex singing.

April 7th, 2016 10:21 AMLipstick VogueStrangely, considering how much I love the album, it's the title track I'm yet to warm up to. Certainly not one I'd pick out and listen to individually, it doesn't feel out of place whilst listening cover to cover and that's the important thing.

April 7th, 2016 10:16 AMHikamaruThere's always an album with that one track many describe as the "weakest link" but here I feel like it's one of the few times I never spotted any particularly weak tracks.

April 7th, 2016 10:06 AMLipstick VogueGood stuff. Was certainly the case with me.
One of those albums where even the not so great tracks fit with the album perfectly. -
April 7th, 2016 9:46 AMHikamaruSo, I listened to the whole tracklist of Everything You've Come To Expect and I can see I would definitely rate 5/5. Seemed to have exceeded my expectations a long way hehehe

April 3rd, 2016 11:45 AMHikamaruAh yes The Age Of The Understatement... back when Alex and Miles looked like identical clones and you can easily see how they've evolved since then. But I am definitely feeling Everything You've Come To Expect will be one of the most anticipated albums of the year, especially considering the 8 year gap since TAOTU.

April 3rd, 2016 11:31 AMLipstick VogueYeah, I really like it. One of the rare occasions that a band have exceeded the hype I've built up inside my own head. I loved their older album, which I have been listening to for years, but this is on another level.
There are a couple of tracks on the album I'm not overly keen on I must say but listening as an entire album, cover to cover, they work.
Hope you enjoy it. -
April 3rd, 2016 11:26 AMHikamaruSo, about the new TLSP album Everything You've Come To Expect... I hear you seem to be enjoying it. Here in my home country of Australia, triple j (a youth-focused radio station) is going to be showcasing it as the feature album this coming week so I'll hopefully share my experiences and thoughts as I hear some of the other tracks from the album.
