February 10th, 2014 7:44 PMIncinermynOh, it picks up a lot of sound. Most notably tapping the touch screen. Usually you would have to speak loud, though, like in 3DS sound recorder. But I think Pokemon automatically enhance the sound.

February 10th, 2014 7:33 PMwaveguidebuizelCackle? Bwahaha, I wouldn't have pegged you as a cackler! XD Oh, but then again... hmm... I guess being loud is good for me though. I've accidentally used it in White 2, but I couldn't really make out what the other person was saying. I don't think she could understand me either, but she seemed to be talking to her friend the whole time, not noticing the voice chat.

February 10th, 2014 7:20 PMIncinermynIt's loud. Very loud, and the mics pick up a lot of sound (which is saying something since the 3DS mics generally suck). I only used it a few times by mistake, and it gets a little annoying (for the other person because I cackle :p).

February 10th, 2014 6:47 PMwaveguidebuizelI never really know what to do regarding game chat, so I just default to "no." Have you tried it before? If you did, how clear is it? I tend to have a quiet, mumbly voice.

February 10th, 2014 6:21 PMIncinermynAye, definitely worth the time. I don't plan on doing that again, though, not intentionally anyways. Which reminds me: I would've done game chat, but I don't know if you'd like it. I was tempted too the other night when we traded, so I could ask you what legendaries you wanted, but my whole family was in the room so I opted out.

February 10th, 2014 6:14 PMwaveguidebuizelThat was definitely a lengthy battle. And a really good one at that, I'd say. :D
-
February 10th, 2014 6:05 PMIncinermynOr maybe I'm mistaken. Sorry, I saved the battle to VS. Recorder, but I'm not reviewing it all atm. The battle is like ten minutes long even when all the decision making lag time is taken out.

February 10th, 2014 5:54 PMwaveguidebuizelHmm, I thought Alakazam had low enough HP at the time. And even as a Mega, his Defense is not great. Maybe I'm remembering it wrong. Anyways, that was a perfect use of Extreme Speed there.
Mold Breaker on Sturdy! I've never even thought of that! Definitely a useful ability there. -
February 10th, 2014 5:43 PMIncinermynReflect was still in play, so I wouldn't have done as much damage. I was tempted to just leave Dragonite in Black 2, but I thought I may get some better use out of it in X. I didn't think I'd have to use Extreme Speed like that, but I didn't want to take any chances of getting massacred by Ancient Power right after Victoria fainted.
Mold Breaker is a handy ability, which is why Haxorus is/was considered a "rape machine" in Gen V. A friend on PB actually suggested it after I started working on a team to counteract a hacked Shedinja with Sturdy ability. It's proven helpful in many other situations, though, so long as I don't get caught in a Triple Battle anyways. -
February 10th, 2014 5:31 PMwaveguidebuizelI can tell you that at least one of them has Bulletproof. Heheh, Mold Breaker. I'd love to Earthquake a levitator, especially Rotom.
Yep, I remember being surprised when Dragonite used Extreme Speed to finish off my Magcargo. But couldn't you have used that to KO Mega Alakazam too? -
February 10th, 2014 4:51 AMIncinermynLet me guess: you were utilizing Bulletproof as its ability too? I haven't done a lot of serious breeding lately, mostly because I've gotten most of the Pokémon I wanted early enough after the games were released. I was going to see if it's possible to breed a Haxorus with Iron Tail/Head and then use it against opponent with annoying abilities. You have ABSOLUTELY no idea how much of a lifesaver Mold Breaker can be, especially when Haxorus has it.
BTW, you noticed that that Dragonite had Extreme Speed, right? I carried it over from SS just because it had it, and that in turn has proven a lifesaver several times over. -
February 9th, 2014 8:04 PMwaveguidebuizelAmazing how certain decisions can turn the battle like that. Yeah, I bet I would've lost if Apollo was saved. This is actually a different Chesnaught than last time; that's why there was no Hammer Arm. :)
-
February 9th, 2014 7:38 PMIncinermynFrom what I've seen, Psychic and Ghost types are still preferred to Fairy, but I haven't battle much lately. Zoroark requires out of the box thinking. I actually tried to hide him on you after you paralyzed him. My mistake since I should have sacrificed him to save Apollo. You would have lost for sure then. I really didn't foresee Stone Edge. I expected Hammer Arm like last time.
-
February 9th, 2014 7:32 PMwaveguidebuizelIllusion seems a bit tougher to use that way now, due to Fairy being good against both Fighting and Dark. But using it with Apollo like you did, I had no idea. Every time Zoroark came out, I think it was disguised as a different pokémon. I think it was an effective strategy.

February 9th, 2014 7:24 PMIncinermynWell, I originally used it in BW to mess with peoples' heads. I mean, they thought it was a Mienshao and most of them used Psychic or Ghost types, so it was easy to bait them into sending them out. Then they got hit with Night Daze and usually had their best Pokemon KO'd. I've had to adapt tactics a little, but it still works now.
