July 16th, 2010 8:05 AMTeam_SJKActually, I stand corrected. Limera1n isn't out quite yet. But on the bright side, the redsn0w download link is working again.

So, you had a birthday just recently? With that said, happy belated birthday. -
July 15th, 2010 11:02 PMMattysaurusHell yes. I will look it up tomorrow. Thanksss;D
-
July 15th, 2010 6:53 PMTeam_SJKIf you're still interested in jailbreaking, I think limera1n is out now.
-
July 5th, 2010 7:23 PMMattysaurusThe site isn't working. :/ I mean the download of redsn0w.
Thanks though. -
June 25th, 2010 8:08 PMTeam_SJKIf yours is an 8GB model, then it was probably released about August/September 2008. If it's larger than that (like 64GB), then it was probably released a year later. I'm talking in terms of hardware revisions, btw.

June 25th, 2010 7:59 PMMattysaurusYeah, I can't see it either. Too scratched. I got for Christmas though?
-
June 25th, 2010 1:11 PMTeam_SJKThis might help. Here's the bottom of mine:
Spoiler:
Like I have said before, mine's scratched up from being put in and taken out of my pocket over the past year. It was brand new last August. -
June 25th, 2010 1:07 PMMattysaurusUhh, I can't find where it says it. ;;
-
June 25th, 2010 5:20 AMTeam_SJKDo you know how old your iPod is? If you can still read it, the copyright info should be on the back right above the dock connector. I can barely read it on mine, because it's been in and out of my pocket so much.
-
June 24th, 2010 9:39 PMMattysaurusOkay, I'm kinda slow on the subject. ;D
-
June 24th, 2010 3:05 PMTeam_SJKThe 4.0 jailbreak should work with any iPod Touch or iPhone, as long as the device is newer than August 2008. At least, that's how I understand it.
-
June 24th, 2010 2:51 PMMattysaurusOkay, sure. But I thought that iPods that are Gen2 can be jailbreaked still? Including the 8gb. ;;
-
June 24th, 2010 2:48 PMTeam_SJKSorry about that, my fellow geek (yes, I am a geek as well). How was I to know? :)
Anyway, I was just on QuickPwn dot com, and they say that the jailbreak for 4.0 won't be out at least until after next Monday, but who knows how accurate that guess is. So far, the only utility to jailbreak 4.0 would be called limera1n, and it is said that it's the fastest way to do so. If you want, I can keep you posted, as I am subscribing to the article via RSS as we speak. -
June 24th, 2010 2:30 PMMattysaurusDude, you don't have to explain stuff, I'm a geek. xD'
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand, iOS4, but it's an iPod Touch 8gb. :D -
June 24th, 2010 2:26 PMTeam_SJKSure, but let me ask you something: What iOS do you have? You can find out by either plugging into your computer and opening iTunes, or in the Settings app, selecting "General," and then "About." Your iOS version should be listed about 7 lines down the list.
