    Montreal has different sectors.

    North-West: Haitians
    Jean-Talon: Arabs
Outremont: Rich people + Hassidic Jews
    Park: Indians, Chinese
    La Salle: Chinese
    East Side of Montreal: French
    West Side of Montreal: English

Ottawa has a Chinese spot, but I've never been there :pink_blush:

I don't think there's even a Chinese neighborhood in my area... at least not that I know of haha. It's a big mix of Polish, Arabic, and some Hispanic mostly, but... next to no eastern Asian markets or anything anywhere 8(

The Chinese neighbourhood in Montreal is where I found mochi lol which is odd, since y'know, is a Japanese foodie.

They can be so hard to find :( The only places I've been to where they're pretty much guaranteed are the Mitsuwa Marketplace in New Jersey and Jungle Jim's International Market in Ohio lol... There are some international/Japanese markets around here, but I think they're like a half hour drive at least.

I love mochi ;-; I would get coconut ones in Montreal all the time. Can't find 'em in Ottawa so far...

I just read your 2nd post and I'm catching up on the rest of the thread and damn, I just have so much agreement with what you're writing on this topic haha. I think nearly everyone in that thread is making some good points too, which is really nice to see in that regard.

It is very touchy. You have to use justttt the right words with the right "strength" if you will. I added another post in that thread for further clarification, so maybe you'll still feel the same way or your opinion will change pending on what I said the second time around :pink_tongue:

Haha no problem, it's such a really touchy topic that it's difficult to eloquently make one's point but you nailed it so respect given where it's due :p

I've always found trouble really vocalizing my specific opinion about the issue in the Teach Men Not to Rape thread but the way you wrote it out was so spot on, freaking kudos.
