December 18th, 2010 8:28 PM>Feelings<Well, that's because the animes are not canon.
That's pretty much all they have been able to hold back. As an anime though, it feels like it would be nice, but not a CCS continued... -
December 18th, 2010 8:21 PMangelYeah, I've been watching it and it does have a different air to it then Cardcaptors or Cardcaptors Sakura.
They are in a completely different world, and I believe are somehow sucked into a somewhat mordern world.
The character still have the same relationships. Sakura and Li kind have got a different relationship since they aren't at each others throats and trying to one up each other. Touya and Sakura still have the same relationship, Touya still picks on her and calls Li a brat. And Touya and Yuko (His friend) have still have the came close relationship. -
December 18th, 2010 8:10 PM>Feelings<Nothing.
I'm back from sleep now anyways...
Oh... Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle... I know about that. What I didn't know is that the story is slightly related to Cardcaptor.
Since I know about it a little, I can safely tell that if you watch it with hopes of getting a continuation of CCS, then you'll find out that it's only a little related, and the characters don't feel the same, and nothing feels like CCS anymore. It is indeed a spin-off, but a somewhat far fetched one. -
December 18th, 2010 7:07 PMangelI found it. Its called Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicle. Its a spin off of the Cardcaptor Sakura.

December 18th, 2010 2:43 PMangelWhat?
Ok. Good night. ^^ -
December 18th, 2010 2:25 PM>Feelings<... Yeah...
I'll wait till then.
Then again, I need some sleep. Bye for today dear. -
December 18th, 2010 2:17 PMangelOh no, I read things of importance all the way through.
I will do that. I just need to find it first. -
December 18th, 2010 2:14 PM>Feelings<O Lol, no. I just had a doubt you skimmed over.
That's great. You can even tell me how the other show that you're talking about is like once you watch a little. -
December 18th, 2010 1:50 PMangelYeah. What you didn't think I would.
I'm still going to watch Cardcaptor Sakura, I just want to see what the other show is about. -
December 18th, 2010 1:43 PM>Feelings<You read that whole thing and understood?
Suit yourself, then. Maybe I'll check it out too later on. But my suggestions is that you see CCS first. -
December 18th, 2010 1:37 PMangelOh ok.
Why would it make it bad? It seems intresting to me. -
December 18th, 2010 1:32 PM>Feelings<Okay then, let me tell you the difference.
Cardcaptor Sakura is the original Anime which originated in Japan. It was never dubbed in English, and was only released with English subtitles made by fans and sub groups.
Cardcaptors is a re-release of Cardcaptor Sakura in the US, Australia, and Canada. This one is dubbed, but also horribly and badly edited to change a lot of things from the original Japanese one.
For the sake of knowing so, when it was released dubbed under the name Cardcaptors in the US and other places, a lot of scenes were cut so that things for more mature viewers were not there, like interest between people of the same gender, interest between relatives, etc. Also, a lot of scenes were cut, and a lot was mistranslated on purpose so that the theme of the anime is changed. The US one that you probably saw has been altered to make it seem more like an action anime, and that Li is a very main character. But the original one has more to it than that, in that Sakura is clearly the main character compared to Li, and the anime is based on romantic theme. They have changed romance to action, lol.
If so, then I suggest don't watch it. At least not until you've seen Cardcaptors, because it is more likely to be bad if it exists.
So, for all these reasons, I like the original Japanese one better, and I suggest you watch CardCaptor Sakura (the original Japanese one) with English Subtitles. It is much better than even Cardcaptors. -
December 18th, 2010 1:21 PMangelOh, I thought it was dubbed. Then no I don't know the difference...
I've seen parts of episodes of it but never an entire episode. I once knew the name of it but I have forgotten it. -
December 18th, 2010 1:16 PM>Feelings<You mean subbed, right? Cardcaptor Sakura only exists subbed at max, and Cardcaptors exist as dub. Do you actually know the difference between the two?
Never heard of such. I think it is most likely non-existent, because I didn't come across it, and it would be non canon. -
December 18th, 2010 1:05 PMangelYeah, maybe. I plan on watching the dubbed verison of Cardcaptor Sakura when my computer is working again.
I also heard that there is a series spin off of the show, where Sakura and Lee are older, teens I believe maybe young adults.
