    Welcome.

Apologies for not being able to work on that story thing... too much work swamped me.

Cirrus, hi, long time no talk. Just wondering if you've still got Yuriko's bio (the Digimon Emperoress we created for that Digi fic we were gonna work on?) If you have it, could you please PM it back to me, I need it for my 02 AU that I'm working on. Thanks in advance.

    Working on it.

    Character conceptual phrase:

"In a city of bright colours... I was the only grey."

    Thanks Cirrus.

Edit: How's the bio of the Digimon Emperoress (for want of a word) going?

That summer was unforgettable. Since then, three years have passed; the Chosen of Odaiba have grown, both in body and in mind. Six of the Chosen have already graduated from elementary school; the youngest two, Hikari and Takeru, were now in grade five. The Digital World, having been saved, has lain in a state of relative passivity and stillness, or so it was believed.

"I'm done!" The clanging of dishes could be heard as the boy (or perhaps young man, even) pushed a stack of porcelain into the sink.

"I'm sorry that I can't go with you on your first day of school, but... I have to finish this article today." In the adjacent room, a pair of hands were furiously working at a keyboard; they belonged to a middle-aged woman with a focused expression on his face. One could suppose, from their ages, that she was the boy's mother.

"It's okay, I can go by myself." A cheerful and confident voice replied, its owner already at the door. "I'm leaving!" The door swung open for a second, then closed again after the boy's departure.

He stepped outside of the apartment and into the light, taking in a breath of the fresh, somewhat chilly autumn air. He momentarily considered whether he should take the stairs or the elevator, deciding on the latter. He wasn't rushed for time, and there was no need to act like the opposite was true.

The elevator door pinged open, and he stepped into it. Already inside were a girl, who seemed to be a bit shorter than he was, and a boy, who was quite a bit shorter than he was. His customary smile widened a little, and he inclined his head slightly.

    "Good morning!"

"G-good morning..." The response was slightly unsure, coming from the girl. The younger boy was content to be silent and observe for now, the boy noticed.

"I just moved into this building. I'm Takaishi Takeru, fifth grade." Unfazed, he continued his good-humored self-introduction. At this, the girl seemed to relax visibly. The younger boy remained the same. "Nice to meet you."

"I'm Inoue Miyako. The 'kyo' in my name is written like the 'kyo' in Kyoto, but it's pronounced 'Miyako'." The girl was smiling slightly as well now, the boy's geniality contagious. "Nice to meet you." She gestured and shifted her gaze momentarily to the boy beside her. "This is Iori."

The boy nodded, and beamed a little. "I'm Hida Iori, third grade. It is a pleasure to meet you." He inclined his head formally. The boy's eyes sparkled with amusement at this as well; the younger boy was extremely polite, though obviously that was not a fault.

"Same to you." Takeru nodded to Iori.

    It was a new beginning.

This was what Takeru thought to himself, as the greetings came and passed by. A new apartment and a new school... He was returning to Odaiba after all these years. He wondered what Hikari was doing; he took a brief moment to calculate her age, and supposed to himself that she could very well be attending his school, in the same grade - perhaps even in the same class?

Though, that was a little too much to hope for, he supposed, and shrugged helplessly. He abandoned his previous thoughts, returning to his normal cheerfully half-smiling expression of calmness. He was getting too far ahead of everything; it was normal to wish to meet an old friend again, but he was being overly anxious about it. And he hadn’t even gotten to school yet...

    ---

"So, Miyako-san, can you come to my house after school to fix our computer?"
