Yeah, that Cobalt guy is a jerk.

    Now onto your comment Luck.

First off, the last link was 9 year outdated. Regardless Those countries all have variables. Colombia is violent because of the drug war there and the fight against Marxist insurgents. Any warzone is going to be violent. South Africa is still recovering from apartheid and has a weak social structure. And Venezuela is a secularist state like in Europe. The only difference is it's Latin American. Hugo Chavez is a socialist. These are traditionally called variables. Meaning they potentially change the outcome of the traditional equation. Those Europeans however have smaller populations than us (we have over 300 million people). England for instance, while secular, has seen a huge increase in crime over the years. In proportion to us, they're not that different. Now old commie Russia, boy, there's a crime infested hellhole.

But let's look at the ultimate secularist states- Cuba, China, North Korea, Vietnam, and Laos. Do you think an atheistic, Communist regime willing to murder millions of its own people to maintain power, is going to have a high crime rate? No, they're slaves to the state, and know no God but their rulers. That's the end result of secularism. When God goes, anything does.

That's also another point though- the freest nation has more crime than the least free. Why? Because we offer choice and free will, and the North Koreans for example offer obedience or death. So you made a good attempt at finding a correlation between religion and crime, but I'm afraid it doesn't work. I suggest learning about causation vs correlation.

    Smashing.

Heck, look at the godless societies today and how much suffering they're caused.
I just thought that I would respond to this.
You are aware that religion halted the advance of science for hundreds of years, right?
And the less religious countries are, the less crime they have. If you take a look at Germany, France, Japan, and the Netherlands, they will have significantly less crime overall. The most violent countries(Colombia, South Africa, Jamaica, Venezuela), however, are predominantly Christian(or a denomination.)
    This, this, this, and this.
And here is the graph that I was talking about.
    Just thought I'd mention it.
