July 24th, 2009 1:20 AMSerene GraceI think I'll do it if I get a B+ at Secondary school. That gives me a stable foundation.
-
July 24th, 2009 1:19 AMCamisadoWell, I did go to sixth-form at my school, but I then went to college after, so it could be either, ahahaha. You can do it after GCSE or A-level. Your choice.
-
July 24th, 2009 1:15 AMSerene GraceXD, thanks.
By college, do you mean the one after Secondary school or Uni? I'm so taking this course :P -
July 24th, 2009 1:14 AMCamisadoThis is the one I did, at the college I went to.
(That's a clickable link, but I can't tell that well in the theme I'm using xD) -
July 24th, 2009 1:07 AMSerene GraceWhoa, that sounds really awesome. I'll do some research on BTEC tonight.
-
July 24th, 2009 1:06 AMCamisadoBTEC is vocational qualifications. I did that one at college after my A-levels - it's equivalent to two whole A-levels, or four AS levels.
Well, I'm an apprentice to my county council, and I get moved around the IT Services teams every couple of months. When I go back from my holiday, I'll be in Service Control, where I'll probably be a security control officer :D but before that I've been on the Service Desk (helpdesk, but a certified one), and the team that go out and fix hardware and software faults. It's really good.
And yeah, sure =3 -
July 24th, 2009 1:01 AMSerene GraceSo didn't get that last one. Anyway, what exactly is your job.
Can I add you on msn aswell? -
July 24th, 2009 12:59 AMCamisadoWell, I have a B at GCSE, a B at A-level, and a double distinction in my BTEC National Certificate for IT Practitioners xD
-
July 23rd, 2009 11:46 PMSerene GraceOf course, I'm definetly going for it. How many GCSE's in IT did you get in Secondary School?
-
July 23rd, 2009 1:54 PMCamisadoI've been an IT modern apprentice for a year and I've loved it, so I'd definitely recommend it as a career =3
