June 7th, 2009 6:58 AMSerene GraceI think it was Seido Juku :]
-
June 7th, 2009 6:55 AMbobandbillSo...you quit, or took a break?
And what style do/did you do? -
June 7th, 2009 6:53 AMSerene GraceI really like Karate. I quit because it was taking too much of my time and I had exams coming up.
-
June 7th, 2009 6:53 AMbobandbillReally? Aww. Myself, I've been doing karate for... 11 years. XD Each to his/her own, I suppose.
-
June 7th, 2009 6:38 AMSerene GraceI quit Karate 1 week ago.
-
June 7th, 2009 6:35 AMbobandbillFootball and Karate are my main favourites, actually. Not sure about the order of the rest as it does tend to vary at times. But I like a lot of sports. XD
...yes, I said Karate. =P -
June 7th, 2009 6:24 AMSerene GraceMost of the sports there are also very popular here in the UK. My favourite are Football, Rugby, Tennis, Swimming and Cricket. Probably in that order too. How about you?
-
June 7th, 2009 5:52 AMbobandbillIndeed they do. Out of the football codes, there's Rugby League, Rugby Union, 'Australian Football Rules', which is...weird and popular everywhere except in place not called Australia. XD And then there's football - which keeps getting called soccer and than football and soccer and football, back and forth...
Cricket, tennis and swimming are some others of the popular sports...
That probably sums up our country's style well. In the qualifying though our new coahc had has play a bit more composed and less agressive - which is why we've had a great record defensively. Some good defenders coming through...
Who will win the World Cup? Probably not us. XD Ah well, we'll see. Probably a touch too early to guess though, especially as barely anyone else has qualified yet. XD -
June 7th, 2009 5:07 AMSerene GraceI know Rugby and Cricket go down well in Australia. I really like your country's style of play. The play aggressively but put together some good passes when it comes down to it.
So who do you think will win the World Cup? -
June 7th, 2009 5:04 AMbobandbillWell, slowly. Football wasn't big before (and having four 'football' codes including it isn't that great either if one sport wants to garner decent, let alone the most attention), but now that Australia are actually doing decently in football, it's starting to swing.
A recent-ish scrapping of the old Australian Football League and making a brand new one has also helped a lot. And means I have a team to really support and watch now. =D
Cricket is pretty big too though. In fact, most sports are, really, especially if we're good in it. XD -
June 7th, 2009 4:45 AMSerene GraceYour country getting in the footy mood eh? I thought it was all Cricket bats.
-
June 7th, 2009 4:21 AMbobandbillWell, I might end up having a dream about them... but yesterday I did not. Ah well. My dreams tend to be too weird for the likes of mere cotton candy clouds. XD
It is grand news indeed - back-to-back qualification. Football is certainly getting stronger here. =D -
June 7th, 2009 3:59 AMSerene GraceCotton candy clouds are a no no? =[
When I saw that news, I immediately thought of you XD. -
June 7th, 2009 3:50 AMbobandbillNice enough - although there was an absence of cotton candy clouds. =(
I AM DISAPPOINTED.
But not by football recently - yay for my team actually winning, AND Australia getting into the World Cup! Woot! -
June 7th, 2009 2:33 AMSerene GraceHave a nice sleep?
