I see that I've missed your birthday, so happy birthday to you nevertheless, even if it's a little late :D
-
Haha I should probably stop improvising and embarassing myself :D
-
Oh ok, actually it's exactly like here ^^ And when do you leave high school? Here at 18.
Ha ha merci :D Unfortunately I return to school Monday >< Anyway, I had good vacations :)
And btw your sentence was almost correct :3 You should have said "Amuse toi bien", "bien" means "good". But it's not important, I've understood you after all :)
-
Haha we have some "special" professors as well :P
Well, you begin primary school at the age of six, then, when you're 14/15, you go to high school :)
Have a nice vacation and enjoy as much as you can! :D
Amuse-toi. ;) (was that even correct? :P)
-
Yes they are completely useless x) I loved Art in secondary school but not Music, our teacher was really... Special. And was really bad at singing => the height of a Music teacher...
Oh ok, I didn't know that :) So, if you start high school at 9, at which age do you leave it?
Haha, here we are in holidays :p Good luck with your history project, and have a good day off ^^
-
Sounds exciting, and I think you agree with me that Music and Art are, although fun, somewhat useless in real life... :P
And we don't have secondary school here in Slovenia; we go from 9 years of primary school to 3 or 4 years of high school :)
The entire state sector (jobs that are paid by the government) is having a strike tomorrow, which means no school! :D
Finally a day off so I can finish my history project.

Music and Art History necessary? Oo I had those classes in secondary school but it stopped with high school
Currently I have Mathematics, Physical-Chemistry, Biology & Geology, English, Spanish, French, History-Geography and Sports.
-
Well, we don't have any optional subjects this year. I think in 2 years we will :)
I have English, Spanish, Mathematics, Informatics, Slovenian, Physics, Art history, Sports, Chemistry, History, Geography and Music.
All are necessary :)
What about you?
-
:P Chocolate eggs are the best !
Aw, too bad :/ But it's just an art history test, you wanna work in medicine, so I guess this isn't the most important ;)
It's funny that you have art history class, here we haven't that, except if we choose the option ^^
-
Our neighbour brought some chocolate eggs, so I guess we do have them :P
And no, we don't hide eggs in Slovenia :)
I messed up an art history test today. :\
-
It's great, I love dying eggs :) But, you don't have chocolate eggs and so on ? Just coloured and normal eggs ?
Yes I think giving presents for Easter is kinda strange, this even is not really for that ^^'
Yes hidding eggs is pretty fun, I loved that younger ^^ But you surprised me, I thought that everybody did that, hidding and finding eggs.
-
We usually just dye eggs in various colours, and then we take the eggs, and ham and other things to church in a basket, where the priest blesses them, and then we go home and eat them :)
But this year I've noticed that little kids have started getting presents from their parents, as though it was Christmas time. Which I think is completely unnecessary. :)
But hiding the chocolate eggs sounds like lots of fun. I'll try and do that with my little brother and sister this year :)
-
No gifts, just chocolate eggs (or chocolate rabbits, chowolate bells, chocolate hen and so on) that are hidden in the garden by the Easter Bells. :) Or in some families they speak of the Easter Bunny, but Easter Bells are totally more popular here.
And what about Slovenia?
-
Do children in France get gifts for Easter...? Do you have an Easter Bunny, or some other althernative perhaps?
-
Happy Easter to you too ;)
