    Hello, there :)

I believe this belongs to you ;)

Congratulations on winning, it was only a matter of time. Which kinda stretched on a bit too long if you ask me :D

Oh, yes- you should save the image to your computer just in case something should happen to my Photobucket or something and the original is lost.

Thanks! :D I did finally get my laptop back just a few hours ago; and it feels so good to know that SRT is unharmed (I was really worried I had hard drive corruption, which would have meant kissing all my hard work goodbye :( ). It may have taken two weeks and $300 dollars of repairs, but all is finally well!

Good luck with your laptop and stuff- nothing more frustrating than technical difficulties when you've valuable files :(
Great read, though, as always, I can't wait for more. This hack is right up my street, haha :)
    (and belated happy birthday!)

Lol, I'm still picking vars out of my teeth...

Thanks for the links, I'll be sure to read them ;)

I can relate to the whole perfectionist deal- I often find myself going back and redoing maps completely. It always works out better afterwards, though, so I suppose it's a good thing.

I know, I'd love for it to be on Emerald, but there are just... too many things to be careful with. I mean, I couldn't get scripts to compile to the ROM, and other crazy stuff kept happening. For a friend of mine, the Battle Frontier was... destroyed, despite him not having touched its data or scripts, or... anything. We've both had to move to Ruby. But it's all good, Ruby is a fine base, more English-speaking hackers should use it.

EDIT: And that Great Black One seems really interesting, lol. I really can't wait for a demo, I love hacks where you play as a Pokemon, I think I'd like to do one after my first ideas are done. Give me.... fifteen years. That should do it. :D

^^ Paws for Alarm chapters coming right up!
    Chapter Two
    Chapter Three
    Chapter Four
Be warned, the chapters are long and the events get depressing in parts. ^^'

Yeah, I'm a bit of a perfectionist and very often go back and revise earlier work, both with my fanfics and with Super Rising Thunder. :) Sometimes I don't get my best ideas until after I've already written or scripted out earlier ideas that weren't so good, and then my "won't let well enough alone" streak has to go back and tinker around with things. I think it's for the best though, since the new stuff is always much better than the old :) In terms of Super Rising Thunder, some things the new intro adds in are a defined personality for the main character (rather than having it be undefined and "up to the player to decide"), a sister to the main character (who is the impetus for a major event), more dialogue to emphasize what a crappy world you're living in (food rations; characters mentioning that you and your sister are special since you're the first Pichu to hatch and survive in over a year), and the notion of the "Great Black One" - an old car tire the Chus of Pikpik Forest worship as a God (they have no concept of a "tire" or even rubber; to them, an object like that is magic). There's more to it than that, though, but you'll just have to wait and see :)

Yeah, my wall-of-text reviews receive quite a bit of attention ^^' I've not had the time to leave that many recently (though I would like to - it's just that so many events have been going on in my life as of late), but if you ever want me to look over your game once you get a bit more work done on it, just say the word :) And it's a Ruby hack, awesome! (Even if you didn't originally intend for it to be a Ruby hack XD ) I'm a Ruby modder as well, and it's so hard to find good Ruby-based hacks (outside of the Spanish hacking community) as opposed to Fire Red ones. ^^'

Wait, you ATE a scripting tutorial? XD I sure hope you didn't get indigestion! (Hah, I know what you meant, I just couldn't resist the joke :) )

Yeah, sorry, I meant Paws for Alarm. And I'd like a link to the other chapters very much please :3
And I'm positive I will like the reworked intro you've planned. I often found myself doing that with my storyline, but it worked out for the better..
While I think of it, the reviews you give to people's hacks are utterly awesome, too. Redefining the term 'constructive criticism', hehe:D I do have my own hack here, yeah- http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=224001 - I recently had to restart it on a different ROM base because of some weird problems, so I'm now hacking Ruby. I don't have any pictures of scripts though, so people generally don't find it too interesting. But I've been eating a scripting tutorial and I nearly have it, so soon enough it'll be... Decent. :P

Thank you so much for your kind words! Comments like that are why I keep on doing what I do :) I really appreciate it! ^^

In terms of Super Rising Thunder; I've actually been redoing the entire intro to flesh out the world some more and to give the player character a personality, a history, and a driving motive behind his journey, rather than have you just be visited by Raikou right at the beginning and declared a chosen one right off the bat (I hope to have some posts up demonstrating this sometime soon; I hope you like it! :) ). As for fanfic, I assume you are referring to Paws for Alarm...I have other chapters to this that are not posted here on PC currently; if you're interested in reading more I can send along a link :)

Thanks again! You have a ROM Hack too, don't you? ^^

Hi :) You don't know me, but...
I felt the need to let you know that both your hack (Super Rising Thunder) and fanfic make me so incredibly jealous of your creativity, and sheer talent of coming up with a good, descriptive storyline.
    That is all :P
