Hmm... Froslass sounds the most promising with all of the Ambipom running around. I'll look into it. Thanks!

Alakazam, Froslass and Persian are all pretty fast Taunt leads in UU. Froslass in particular is a great lead I've found :D

Hey Aura, thanks for the comment on Electrode. Do you have any good ideas for fast anti-leads with Taunt besides Ambipom?

Anything with Pursuit or Sucker Punch...Spiritomb, Honchkrow, Cacturne, ect all work pretty well. Spiritomb handles it pretty well actually, being immune to Psychic and such.

Hey Aura, what would you use to beat Alakazam in UU on a hyperoffensive team?

Ok. I'll look at Charizard. I've been having experience these past couple of weeks with the troubles of mixed sweepers in NU. I have 3 on my current team- Cloyster, Sharpedo, and Exxegutor. (Well, Cloyster is an anti-lead, but whatevs).

Mixed sweeping flying types in NU...you're already pretty limited in that sense since a lot of NU pokes don't really have too many options to begin with. If you have spin support, Charizard is probably your best bet, it runs a mixed set quite well and has access to Roost as well. There are a ton of other NU Flying types to choose from, but once again most are focused on either attack or special attack.

You'll have to excuse my lack of knowledge of the NU metagame, I haven't made an NU team in quite a while. But in general, I'd definitely have a counter for physically based Cacturne and Ursaring, who I've heard are quite monstrous in NU. Anything choiced with a high attack stat can also do damage, like Kingler, Armaldo, Pinsir, ect. While of course you can play around these prediction, I'd make sure you have a nice steady physically bulky pokemon on your team, or at least something that can outspeed them comfortably.

On the special side, Exeggutor, Magmortar, Ampharos, Cacture again, Jynx, ect are capable of causing some damage. Same thing with these, they can all be played around with good prediction, but be prepared for them. If you need specifics on any of these, just let me know.

Looks like the individual tutoring part is underway! I want to ask a couple of questions about NU:

What is a good mixed sweeping Flying-type in NU? The NU team I have has a horrible Quake Edge weakness.

What are the most prominent threats of NU?

Heh, that works for me, because I've been getting more and more interested in UU and NU. ChronicEdge and I are working on a joint NU RMT, so when I post it, feel free to harshly criticize.
