January 12th, 2009 11:18 AMBanjora MarxvileRight... According to Aurafire, the Everstone doesn't increase chances of IV's being passed down.
-
January 12th, 2009 11:17 AMNoBel_ToKYo ™easy. use a ditto and breed em all once, providing that all 3 are male.they SHOULD most likely be female. i've tested this and it seems the ratios ARE vice versa for each gender (basically, i'm pretty sure i'm right) :P
-
January 12th, 2009 11:14 AMBanjora MarxvileGreat! I need a female of 3 pokemon (Shuckle, Gengar and Feraligatr)...
-
January 12th, 2009 11:10 AMNoBel_ToKYo ™yeah, they are hard to find. sometimed it's easier not to use ditto (or at least, use him to get a female and make the male play hokey with till you get good IV's
-
January 12th, 2009 11:07 AMBanjora MarxvileThat's good. I doubt I'd get good results from that, but Dittos with good IV's are rare.
-
January 12th, 2009 11:05 AMNoBel_ToKYo ™nope, indeed you can't. you can also try breeding two from the saem species if you think you'll get better results of course.
btw i added on the IV's of my team milotic in the previous VM. -
January 12th, 2009 11:04 AMBanjora MarxvileGreat! I've got to catch from the wild a Ditto with near perfect IV's, as you can't breed Dittos.
-
January 12th, 2009 11:02 AMNoBel_ToKYo ™lol good luck with that ^__^ not only do i breed in general, i also breed for outstanding IV's, and shinies. i have a near on perfect/ideal IV family line of milotics, one being shiny, and also used on my team.
that milotic has 31 IV's in HP, def, sp:def and speed. now thats good :P -
January 12th, 2009 11:01 AMBanjora MarxvileYeah... The father is also the grandfather! Anyway, thanks. All I need is a Ditto with IV's that I need (Well, all of them!)
-
January 12th, 2009 10:59 AMNoBel_ToKYo ™yes it does work for ditto, providing he is, umm..."rolling in the hay" with a male. so you know what to get. a ditto+female almost always equals a male, and vice versa. you MAY have to incestuate things a little to breed it right, meaning that the ditto might have to re-breed with the offspring *shudder*
-
January 12th, 2009 10:51 AMBanjora MarxvileRight... Does it work for Ditto, do you know? I'm not sure... That ruins the EV's of my team.
-
January 12th, 2009 10:48 AMNoBel_ToKYo ™as far as i know, it's only the mother, and that applies to IV's and nature. the other 3 IV's i don't think have any influence from the father and are randomly picked..but normally okay, better than if you just catch the pokemon
-
January 12th, 2009 10:44 AMBanjora MarxvileI know of the nature. So your saying that it picks 3 IV's to pass down if equipped with Everstone? Only the mothers, or can it work with the father's?
-
January 12th, 2009 10:42 AMNoBel_ToKYo ™to an extent. it would only gain 3 of the mothers IV's, the other 3 being random, and it could be for any 3 stats. the everstone also has a 50% chance of passing down the mothers nature.
-
January 12th, 2009 10:40 AMBanjora MarxvileI have a question for you involving IV breeding and the "Everstone" trick. Apparently, you can transfer IV's from the mother if it is equipped 50 % of the time. Is it true?
