October 27th, 2008 6:50 AMArtemisThat's pretty cool....well my sceptile is almost 94...it's getting really tough leveling up, but I've got to do it...hey quick question do you think it should know leaf storm or energy ball???
-
October 27th, 2008 5:42 AMBanjora Marxvile... Fine this end. Not leveled any of my pokeon yet, so my team is the same. I'm going to improve it though, at some point.
-
October 27th, 2008 5:40 AMArtemisYeah I see what you mean...well I'll have to think about it....so, we'll see but on the plus side I got my sceptile to lv. 90 so far....which is great....how's it going for you these days?
-
October 26th, 2008 12:05 PMBanjora MarxvileI realised a minute ago. I'd still replace Scizor though, as if Scizor is your last pookemon, and theirs is Charizard, your pretty beat!
-
October 26th, 2008 12:04 PMArtemiswait what I mean by special wall is by placing it's evs in sp. def and sp. atk......you do realize that right?
-
October 26th, 2008 8:41 AMBanjora MarxvileYep, sure, but with Mantine being a Sp. Wall, it won't be as effective on Fire types. Anyway, its your team. My opinion is replace Scizor with Steelix, or Skarmory... Skarmory's have quite good Def. but not as good as Steelix.
-
October 26th, 2008 8:35 AMArtemisYou know what I was thinking of Steelix, but Scizor gives me more coverage against other pokemon...for fir types I have Mantine, which you don't see very much in wifi battles...but this is my first EV trained team that I'm working on myself...and I'm going to try and make it work...if it doesn't I'll try to improve it...so, we'll see how it all goes right?
-
October 26th, 2008 8:04 AMBanjora MarxvileScizor as a Phys. Wall? That leaves it very weak against Fire... I'd have chosen a better Defensive pokemon... Like Steelix. But thats good.
-
October 26th, 2008 8:01 AMArtemissure I'll tell you and you can tell me if it is equally balanced out...so, what do you think?
Sp. Sweeper: Sceptile
Sp. Sweeper/wall: Lucario
Phys. Sweeper: Salamence
Phys. Wall: Scizor
Sp. Wall: Mantine
Wall: Dusknoir
well?....................... -
October 26th, 2008 7:56 AMBanjora MarxvileI would like to. Whether you will tell me is a different question...
-
October 26th, 2008 7:52 AMArtemisokay well, if earthquake doesn't work out to well for me, then I'll switch to rock slide...but remember I'll have other pokemon to handle against Charizard.......I just finished working on a complete team for myself that I'm going to completely EV train myself......would you like to knnow what they are?
-
October 26th, 2008 6:37 AMBanjora Marxvile... Well, Earthquake still wouldn't be that powerful... Also, what about against Charizard? Try Rock Slide. If that doesn't work, then try Earthquake.
-
October 26th, 2008 6:09 AMArtemisokay I have a question my sceptile's hidden power move is steel........do you think that is a good power? I mean it can be good for countering ice types right?
okay I was thinking of teaching Sceptile Energy Ball, Toxic, Hidden Power, and Earthquake
*earthquake even though it is a physical move, it can still do some damage to fire types, my attack is still a little bit higher than minimum...so what do you think?*
and to give it more power I was going to give it the expert belt....how's that?? -
October 26th, 2008 6:01 AMArtemisI was thinking that....except on m team I already have a Salamence(atk) and Lucario(sp. atk)
So I was thinking of making my sceptile like a fast annoyer...giving it the wide lend and letting it learn toxic, energy ball...and that's where it ended....what do you think of this so far?
oh yeah and lucario knows aura sphere and dragon pulse so I wanted the moves on sceptile to be a little different...got any suggestions? -
October 26th, 2008 5:57 AMBanjora Marxvile... Sp.Atk... Well, consider teaching it... Now, if you said Attack, I'd be better... Try Dragon Pulse (TM 59), Focus Blast (TM 52)... Thats where my knowledge ends,,, TM 52 is available at Veilstone Dept. Store.
