    hmm, I would like to keep animations if it is possible :S I like the animated doors and everything.

    I suppose you are right about the block behavior. Are there any other flaws?

    Well, we don't really need animations I suppose, as I think they aren't needed and can be turned off... Not sure though. However we would need to set Block Behaviour for ALL of the tiles, (such as which tiles allow you to warp, where the hero is on the tiles (ie standing on both layers, half hidden)). It would take a while...

    animations like the doors and flowers? I have never really worked with animated tiles. What kind of flaws?

    Well, the animations for a start... I have an idea though... It may screw up animations, but if we made all of the pallettes the same in Ruby as they were in Firered, we could just save the tileset from Firered and reload the tiles in Ruby, but that has flaws...

    Most of it can be ported with ease, but some tiles may have difficulty.

    Yup. We are kind of starting from scratch, I can import the maps with ease and just go through and clean them up to make them look right and not glitchy. The work you have done can be ported over I think, but other than maps and tiles, nothing has really hit the Dissension Rom Base. Everything is in external files so they can be imported i.e scripts and sprites. So even though I am not working on the old base, I am working on Dissension :)

    ok, well how far did you get with the FR ones? you can just make a patch and send them to me and I will patch both Ruby and FR and go from there on my own.

    I need to make them 16 colors then edit the palettes right?

    do all the house tiles use one palette? if not a list of palettes for what each interior uses would be great and I can recolor them and insert them from there.
