...hi. You're probably planning on leaving soon. I just want you to know that when you do leave, Lily and I will be right here waiting when and if you return. I consider you one of my biggest friends on her.

So, hi again. You'll have to excuse me if my posting is a bit erratic; it's yard-work day, and I only break every half hour or so, and then only for about 5.

So, how's things? (I need a database of different ways to say "what's up?")

    You bet it is.

Anywho, I think it's time I actually tried sleeping. I'm actually starting to yawn some now, so I might be sleepy enough. TTYL~ :3

That too. Right before I fall asleep, my mind empties, and if anything breaks that emptiness, or I become aware of it, it resets.

...sleep is very complicated, isn't it?

    My mind's almost never blank, except the tiny window of time when I finally quit thinking and start dozing off. If that's interrupted somehow before I fall asleep, I have to start all over again (and my cats seem to delight in being the interruptions). ;~;

Wow...I can't even imagine not-thinking to sleep. I just lie awake for hours on end. The more occupied my mind is, the better I sleep it seems. Within reason...if I'm having serious thought, it goes the other way.

Oh God yes. Thought is the number one cause of me not sleeping. Every other part of me can be shut down easily enough, but my stream of consciousness is like a frikken' Energizer bunny. Put into overdrive. As a matter of fact, the times I think most are times like when I'm trying to sleep, as it's all quiet and still and my thought process is the only thing running, and boy, does it run.

Thought keeps you awake? It's the opposite for me. I can't sleep unless my mind is focused on something. If it's not, if it's just blank or focused on sleep, it'll never happen.

Eww, milk that isn't cold is nasty XD

Cold milk sometimes works (it has a similar effect to eating a filling meal), but I ran outta milk yesterday and was too lazy to go to the grocery store D:

I thought exercise was supposed to have the opposite effect? Like with adrenaline and such like that.

Eh, I'll sleep eventually. Though I bet once I start seriously trying to, my little demons will start making trouble like usual, or I'll start thinking about stuff and won't be able to stop. DX

...hmm. Let me think...I tried the warm milk trick, but it didn;t really help. Might for you.

Eh, I've come to terms with this. It sucks, but you get used to it. Maybe exercise?

Well, showers/baths are tedious (to me) and only useful for hygiene, plus I only shower in the morning. I only have non-boring movies and don't have any cable or anything as my TV set's just for games. :3

And staring at something for a long time (like a screen) tends to make insomnia worse for me somehow, or it'll make me drowsy but still unable to sleep. It's weird and kinda unfair. D:

    ...hee.

Hmm...well, I don't know how helpful I can be, because lately none of my usual methods work. Late-night showers/baths help me relax. Another good trick is to find a really, really boring movie or tv show, and watch that. You have to force yourself not to change the channel or anything, though.

So I've noticed (the staying up with the pair part, that is)

I don't mean to interrupt, but you're kinda the only person I talk to that's on (including my IRL friends I talk to on Yahoo), and I'm still insomniated. DX

Eh, me too mostly, but I'm also staying up due to my new pair ^^

For some reason, my computer is now failsauce.
