Deserts, caves, forests, anything you can think of, really. Just be creative. :)

Okay. Any specific map types I should be working with, beyond just caves?

That's OK. I actually don't have a specific task for you at the moment. If you'd like, though, you can always just mess around with AdvanceMap and try to come up with puzzles that can be used in Explorers.

Hey. I'm probably not going to be able to work much for the next couple days, but if you still wanna brief me on what you need done, I might be able to get a head start, if I get any free time.

Thanks, man. You'll be happy to know that one of my goals is to somehow restore activity in the Map Rating/Review Thread since it has kinda died recently. If you have any ideas, don't hesitate to shoot 'em my way.

Yeah, I've been hearing good things about that game (and its counterpart) and I've been thinking about playing it. Maybe after I finish Link's Awakening first.

My first game was probably for the nes lol, but Oracle of Season is probably my favorite Zelda game. I never actually played Link's Awakening though.

Heh, yeah me too. I think that Link's Awakening may have been my first game ever, though it could have been Pokémon Yellow. It's been too long to remember.
I recently started playing it again and when I saw that scene, I just knew that I had to take a picture of it. It took a lot of photoshopping (more like "Paint"ing) to get it from this to this in order to fit the avatar restrictions but I think it was worth it. Strangely, it was actually a lot harder than my "sig pic".

Love you're avatar. I loved the GBC Zelda games. :D

Haha... well I figured that the little extra path in the bottom right wouldn't make sense if I hadn't shown that there was an item in there... plus I enjoy thinking up personalities for the trainers. :P

It's difficult to tell because of all those smaller trees that you threw in between the bigger trees.
Nice map, though. I like the paths for some reason. The tall grass placement is pretty good as well. The only thing I don't like is the fact that you include the NPCs in all your mapshots :D

It's hard for me to comment on the tree shadows as I'm not familiar with the correct way to do them in R/S/E but by FR/LG standards, they are just awful D:
Just look at the map I posted most recently for (I think) the proper way to do tree shadows in R/S/E.
