January 6th, 2010 5:56 PMVenWho doesn't love watching that? I mean the View has gotten millions from it.
I wish there was a way to know for certain though :I -
January 6th, 2010 5:52 PMcolcolstylesWell, I actually always thought that they weren't but The Doctor recently told me that they were. I'm still a little unsure though. I don't think they would ever approve that thread, unless they just wanted to sit back and enjoy seeing people argue.

January 6th, 2010 5:50 PMVenWhat, they are? o.o
My god. Then wait, why did they approve it...
Wouldn't it be considered plagerism? The forum really is crumbling down then. :/ -
January 6th, 2010 5:46 PMcolcolstylesBut I thought threads in the main ROM Hacking forum were on approval? :\

January 6th, 2010 5:44 PMVenwe'll buy bombs off the Russians
True, it is an unwinable battle, but I stand by my morals, and I'm pretty sure that the mods won't let it stay open for too long. -
January 6th, 2010 5:39 PMcolcolstylesUnfortunately, it's just us two against the 893,784 n00bs that make up the Shiny Gold fanbase.

August 24th, 2009 10:17 PMVenI think that's because it's the only pokemon music you don't want to turn off, so you don't notice it after a while.
I would buy those songs on iTunes if I had to. -
August 24th, 2009 10:13 PMcolcolstylesOh man, don't even get me started on the music. I went through all the tracks in Sappy once just for the nostalgia. It was heavenly.
Though I think it's weird how there are like 8 different route themes but when I'm playing through the game, I never noticed that there was more than just 1. -
August 24th, 2009 10:06 PMVenHaha, I see.
RSE was my favorite game by far, especially musicaly. -
August 24th, 2009 10:02 PMcolcolstylesR/S/E tiles are by far my favorite, with the sole exception being the main tree (and the smaller tree to some degree). I just can't stand it so I replaced it with the FR tree (I ended up putting in a lot of other FR tiles too because some look a little more professional). Though I like the various houses and buildings in R/S/E much more than those in FR. They're a lot more beautiful and creative in my opinion.
Yeah, I'll probably end up replacing the tall grass as well but I also have to replace the entire animation along with it so I'm trying to put that off as long as possible :P -
August 24th, 2009 9:56 PMVenWhy thank you, one thing I loved about the tiles in your map, was the perfect mixture of RSE and FR tiles, people seem to always critisize rse tiles, but truly if you use them right, they look really pretty. The only thing I could suggest would be to use Fr wild grass instead of the Ruby ones.

August 24th, 2009 9:51 PMcolcolstylesGood. People always swoon over large maps (hell, even I do it) but my pride rests in the amount of detail I put into my maps, not how big they are or how quickly I can make them.
Yeah waterfalls always seem to cause people a lot of trouble. It might be the fact that the technique differs between Ruby and Fire Red.
By the way, I really like the tiles in your map. The R/S/E grass path always looks nice and the palette for those houses is very pretty too.
