August 6th, 2008 9:54 PMPOKEMON_MASTER_0Yeah, that's what I was thinking. A fic in non-script form might be kind of funny. I didn't see that slogan...maybe I'll have to do a check for it...
EDIT: I'll see you around tomorrow, hopefully. I would type the next chat...but I'm seeing pieces of black fuzz and mistaking them for spiders. I think that's a sign that I need my sleep. lol -
August 6th, 2008 9:09 PMPOKEMON_MASTER_0That was...fun. I didn't even see the country music coming. I'm going to have a difficult time countering that one, although I think I have something in mind...something that will be completely stupid or completely genius. Either way, it's going to be random.
The character chat was also kind of inspiring. I've finished the first chapter and I'm now in the process of editing it. If my work ethic holds, it may be on IGN by tommorow. "May be" is the operative. -
August 4th, 2008 10:06 PMPOKEMON_MASTER_0I love it when that happens. You get a paragraph that's been tripping you up for days and then suddenly, you power through it and find that everything else falls into place.
And Porygon...I've always liked the porygon family. In the third generation, they were kind of cool. They were kind of on the gimicky side with Conversion and Conversion 2. They were still kind of fun to mess around with, though. And then Porygon-Z came. Man, I love that thing. Give it a choice band, baton pass it an agility from Zapdose and if it survives at least one hit, it'll tear a huge hole. Of course, just about every experienced player has some sort of method to counter it (*coughblissycough*), so that can be a problem at times. -
August 4th, 2008 9:46 PMPOKEMON_MASTER_0Just noticed that you were on and thought that I'd say a quick hi.
I am ecstatic, actually. I think that I'll have the first chapter finished by tomorrow. Of course, it won't really be finnished. It'll have to be reread and edited multiple times, which will take a few days. -
August 2nd, 2008 3:05 PMPOKEMON_MASTER_0Woah...that was good with the clouds and the fire and the strobe. It makes me want to see him in concert even more (even though I'm pretty sure that the visuals won't match the ones presented in the video). It's a shame that the In Search of Sunrise series aren't available for download on the net. Actually, I have found ISOS 6, but it's only a partial album (and it doesn't have Tiesto's mix of Hide and Seek).
And speaking of In Search of Sunrise, I'm playing ISOS 5 right now. My cousin's pug also seems to like it. He's seated at the top of the steps, listening to it. lol. I applaud his taste in music. As for what's playing...one of my favorite tracks from the CD: Irony by Ozgur Can. It's really repetitive, but at the same time, it's kind of hypnotic. Here, I'll give it to you so that you can hear it the next time you log in:

August 1st, 2008 11:28 PMPOKEMON_MASTER_0Ten years...that's really good. I myself have been through ten at least in less than five years. I had a number of tetras that died off, the three betas, two one-inch diameter snails (although they weren't fish, they did do a good job at cleaning the tank), and a catfish-like thing. I figure that once my last two fish die off, I'll get some new ones.
Well, I think that's about it for me. I'm going to bed now. Nice talking and see you tomorrow (or the next day, or the next...) -
August 1st, 2008 11:16 PMPOKEMON_MASTER_0Somehow I'm not surprised that it died. I myself have been through three betas. I have a 10-gallon aquarium that I kept them in (one at a time) along with my other fish. The last one that I had got a fungal infection of some sort. I isolated him in his own special bowl and then tried giving him medicine. Sadly, it didn't work.
As of now there are two half-inch tetras in my fishtank that have exceeded their one-year life expectancy by two years. I want to try another beta, but I'm afraid that he would pick on the other fish (which I would imagine are pretty old and frail.)
Of course, I do still have the bowl that I used to isolate my previous one, so I could try that out. I think I have an unopened canister of beta food, even.
I've also done some major work on the tank's pH since then, so maybe one would do better now than before. -
August 1st, 2008 11:01 PMPOKEMON_MASTER_0lol. I don't think that my cat is that vicious, but she does like to get in my face. Whenever I sit down, she wants to sit on my lap. She also has a weird twitchy-thing. Sometimes when she's cleaning with her back paws in the air (yes, she can sit like a human, oddly enough) her paws flinch. It seems kind of involuntary.
But tomorrow, she's going to be afraid. My cousin is coming to visit and she's also bringing her pug. This pug is not fat like the majority of them are. He doesn't sleep all day and he loves walks. He runs around the house, trying to eat anything and everything (including my cat).
He's also quite fun to have in a car. If you pull in at a McDonald's drivethru and stop to give your order, he'll start yapping hysterically. You have to yell over him just to place your order. And then when you pull up to the window to get your food, he goes even more crazy because for some strange reason, he expects the employee to give him a treat. He goes so crazy, in fact, that if he's sitting in the back of the car, he'll use his bony head as a battering ram to get himself to the driver's seat.
Fun times, fun times.
EDIT: I could about go for a hot dog as well. And a huge spider...hopefully he's on the floor. Then you can just squish him with a shoe, but knowing how much spiders like walls, I doubt that will be the case. -
August 1st, 2008 10:36 PMPOKEMON_MASTER_0The joker sounds right up my alley. Maybe he's like Smith from the Matrix...or maybe not. In the beginning he made perfect sense but by the end of the trilogy, he was falling apart, so he was sane half the time.
And my cat seems...angry. She just had to get medicine put into her ears and now she's fuming around the house, stopping occasionally to clean her fur. At least she hasn't spotted me...yet. -
August 1st, 2008 10:20 PMPOKEMON_MASTER_0Really? I may have to look into it. Right now I'm occupied with Nueromancer. It's sci-fi, kind of cyberpunk stuff.
I also saw Batman Begins on TV tonight in preparation for The Dark Night. I loved that one villain. I forgot what his name was but he was the doctor who became the Scarecrow. He was always logical, he always had a plan. He was so calm that he seemed half-crazed, even. Kind of confusing. -
August 1st, 2008 10:04 PMPOKEMON_MASTER_0I know, I know. I think that dialog issues are really widespread. I've been looking back on One Latias (more than I should be...I still have yet to finish the first installment of Elements) and I've realized that dialog isn't exactly my strongest suite either. If I'm going to post it here, I'll have to clean it up a bit.
EDIT: No, I haven't. That guy in the orange was cool, almost astonishingly so. The way he danced seemed unreal...almost like a robot. -
August 1st, 2008 9:45 PMPOKEMON_MASTER_0I made a mistake: I underestimated the power of Justice. The first time I heard them, I thought, "Ok...this is intense, but it's just a bunch of garbled up funk-sounding stuff."
And then yesterday, I gave them another try and realized that it isn't just a bunch of garbled-up funk. It actually has order. It sounds kind of cool in a loud, distorted way.
I don't know why I had this revelation, but I decided that I liked them enough to get their CD at BestBuy. It's catchy to say the least. I think that my favorite track is Newjack. That electric guitar-sounding stuff in the latter half is amazing (and I think I've heard the sample that the song uses before, although I don't know where).
So yes...thank you for showing me the awesomeness of Justice. The only thing that I regret is not realizing it sooner.
So what's up? -
July 30th, 2008 12:00 PMPOKEMON_MASTER_0I'm kind of curious...which duck is homicidal? Could it be the one from Aflack?
-
July 28th, 2008 10:49 AMPOKEMON_MASTER_0Cleveland, huh. Sounds kind of like Western Washington. It's supposed to be summer, yet we got a boatload of rain yesterday and they're forecasting more to come. I'm used to it and I kind of like the temperature below seventy degrees. I just wish the sun would shine more often...actually, it's out now, but it's surrounded by a wall of clouds. ):
And I'm glad to hear that EC is coming along nicely. I wish that I could say the same about myself. We got Wii Fit yesterday and it's kind of distracting. I'm getting there though. Only a paragraph or two left of the summary-part and then I'll be able to breeze right through the remainder of the first chapter.
EDIT: I need to eat. I'll probably be back later, but I'm not completely sure. I may attempt to ban myself from the internet (and Wii Fit) so that I can write. We'll see. -
July 28th, 2008 10:35 AMPOKEMON_MASTER_0Hey. Haven't seen you for a few days, lol. How's your trip going?
