July 7th, 2009 3:02 PMSweet Smoochum(AJ is short for Anthony Joseph.) I'm Irish and Italian, but my cousin (who has a different grandpa,) is Italian and Greek. (& Yes, I'm Caucasian.)
When you get to your profile, there is the word, customize profile next to "Mini statistics." Click that, and you'll be able to customize it. -
July 7th, 2009 2:41 PMSweet SmoochumLol haha My cousin AJ just turned 5 a few months ago. Platinum is his first pokemon game. XD
You go to your profile to change it. You click your username in: Welcome, Eggie Poo Poo. Then your profile will come up. Then it says Customize profile. Click it and you'll see control panel on the left. Then go to edit signature. And edit. ^_^ -
July 7th, 2009 2:27 PMSweet SmoochumLol (I played Silver not too long ago. lol I still have one that works. I also have a pretty good memory.)
I think it would be cool if they showed Chikorita making a cute pose using something like Vine Whip, Tododile using bubblebeam, and Cyndaquil using Flamethrower in the intro.
If they showed some of the original intro in black & white, and then had some new clips showing Ho-oh (or Lugia) added in between, that might be cool, too. It would be like a really neat flashback, and create some really good nostalgia for old fans and show the new ones what it was like when we first played. ^_^ -
July 7th, 2009 2:14 PMSweet SmoochumI'm thinking that Ho-oh circling the Tin Tower is possibly for when Ho-oh arrives to the trainer or it's for the introduction. I definitely think the Ho-oh flying over the horizon was made for the intro. Hopefully, they'll keep some of the original intro in it at the beginning, but show Ho-oh flying possibly in-between clips. Because I really liked seeing the Shellder underwater, Magikarp swimming, and the camera rising to the sight of a Lapras swimming. Then, they move over to the Jigglypuff singing and Pikachu tackling it. Then, they jump to each starter appearing and they end with a Charizard using a fire move. Then, it's the start screen showing Ho-oh. If they edit out the part in bold, I won't mind, but I really would like to see the original beginning, but then with a new ending or stuff being shown in-between scenes. In FrLg, they kept the battle between Gengar and that other pokemon. So, I would like to see something similar to the original intro, so it has some feeling of nostalgia.

July 7th, 2009 7:27 AMSweet SmoochumI'm not offended. XD Everyone has an opinion. Ho-oh flies throughout the sky and Lugia is under the ocean. I like the drastic difference. But compared to Ho-oh, Lugia seems a little plain so its background got more attention. Ho-oh is already a majestic pokemon so it doesn't need much effort on a background. Though, I liked your idea of having a rainbow in the background, because it is a rainbow colored Pokemon. When you compare Ecruteak to the Whirl Islands, the exterior looks like more work was done on it compared the the Islands.

July 6th, 2009 4:19 PMSweet SmoochumI thought the HG Screen was cool. :/ The sunrise was in the background and Ho-oh was flying over the clouds. Lugia's is cool too, but I love the sunny effect behind Ho-oh. (Gold was my first ever Pokemon game and it's the first one I've ever played, so I'm choosing Heart Gold. Another reason is that I prefer Teddiursa over Phanpy.) Hopefully, I can get both, though. Johto is my favorite region. ^_^

July 5th, 2009 4:57 PMSweet SmoochumLol ^_^ (After seeing the commercial for HG/SS, the game's not ruined for me.)

June 20th, 2009 8:31 AMSweet SmoochumI understand how you feel. I feel like the other legendaries would just be stealing the spotlight away from the Johto ones again. Ho-oh and Lugia should be in the limelight this time. Not Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, and Arceus. I'll get the game too, but I wish they didn't dump the Hoenn and Sinnoh legends into the game. I'll just think of this game as a new Johto game and not a remake. I'm not too crazy about the rival's battle sprite either. When I first heard of the remakes, I, too, was excited, but so many people began complaining about the new girl and it ruined it for me. The overworld looks better than I thought, though. Why did they have to ruin it by adding Hoenn pokes?

June 20th, 2009 8:14 AMSweet SmoochumOne of your posts in the complaints thread. I thought it was funny. ^_^ (It's in the spoiler.) I thought it was hilarious.
Spoiler:In my opinion, this will be a decent Pokemon game, but it will honestly lick ass compared to the originals. They're adding WAY TOO MUCH CRAP that was added in 4th gen, and that massive crap I had hoped would have been gone from these remakes since they are just remakes of the classics, right?
But no.
They've brought back the ugly ass puke green sickening grass colour, when they should be using the G/S autumn coloured grass. The Rival literally looks homosexual and like a girl wearing a skin tight leather outfit, and his retarded haircut and expression make him look like a sissy nancy. GO BACK TO THE OLD RIVAL LOOK.
As said directly from Nintendo, the "gender that you don't pick will play a role in aiding you in the storyline," which has to be the stupidest thing ever. I hated Dawn (or Lucas, if you chose the girl) when she ran up to me, I wanted to punch her square in the face.
As many of you say things like "what, do you want an 8-bit exact 100% remake"? No you Nintendo fangirls.
The storyline and the way events are played out should remain 100% the exact same as in Gold and Silver. The only changes that should be made are:
1. Updated 4th gen graphics (except for that god-awful grass)
2. 4th gen moves
3. Convenient things in 4th gen (like the easy way of checking your Pokemon's stats, attacks, etc.)
4. Music tracks remixed, (although they'll never touch the originals, the new remixes will still be loved )
That's all that should be changed. Nothing bloody else. Which means no stupid retarded menu on the touch screen; which is by far the most f**cked up move Nintendo has ever made in their career.
I must ask, Nintendo, what the f**cking hell is your thought process?
Not saying this game is horrible, but if it were in comparison to the classic G/S, then yes, it would be a massive pile of watery hippopotamus diarrhea. If I can somehow force myself to pretend I'm not playing a Gold Silver remake, and rather just a new Pokemon game, I think I'll find enjoyment.
Bottom line: It's too late for this game to get its ass saved, they've gone down the wrong road, because Nintendo lacks brain cells. I'm aware a bunch of fanboys will jump at me now. Give it 10 minutes tops.
LMAO XD ^_^ -
June 10th, 2009 1:52 PMSweet SmoochumDude, do you honestly feel that way about the remakes? xD
