Yeah, we're always at risk for those things where i live. i live on this huge plateau at the base of a volcano (eruptions, avalanches and eathquakes) that has super cell storms every winter (windstorms and partial tornado development) and near a river (flooding). It's a miracle none of them has happened yet (Although we had 2 tornados almost touch down a few years back but they disintegrated before they formed). To be honest im always a little jealous of the mid-west for being relatively safe.

I know. It was a pretty big hurricane. :\ I live in a place were we really don't get many natural disaters like that, thank God. We're technically in tornado alley, but I live in a valley.

I think he is more in shore because his school still has internet. He has been around here a little bit. I think he's fine but the things got to look bad down there.

I know. D8 Hopefully he doesn't live by the shore or anything...although, he would of probably said something if he did live by the shore....

I totally understand what that's like. I live in Seattle and we have this massive convergent zone of warm tropical air and cold artic that meets and creates 50-60 MPH windstorms that knock out everything for like a week. At lest you guys didnt suffer the total annihlation that Texas did. I feel so sorry for those people. I hope Ruby-chan is ok, he's from Texas...

Yup, except for the lack of internet. D8 I don't live in Texas or anything(although I do have some uncles who live in Texas)...I live in Indiana, and we got hit really badly by the hurricane winds...I think they were like, 70 or 80 mph or something. So, I was without power for a few hours, and without cable, phones, or internet for four days. D8 But, now I think it's finally back.
