January 28th, 2016 1:31 PMMr Cat DogTwitter or text is the best way to get a hold of me these days. I probably wouldn't have noticed this message for days until Adri texted me about it! Yes, it's been too long. My weekends are kinda stacked up until March - partially with work, partially other commitments - but afterwards, I'll be relatively free and easy. Let's organise something for then!

January 26th, 2016 2:12 PMRogue planetYo, even if you can't get Adri and Will to join, if you have the time why don't you just come down to Brighton? It's been so long.
Otherwise I'm visiting you in London in a few months, once I've saved the moneyz. Currently facing eviction which is a pain in the wallet.
Also where's the best place to contact you? FB? Twitter? -
September 12th, 2015 12:39 AMMr Cat DogSigh... getting the two of them together is even more complicated than what I first imagined. No to September, but it might be in October. I'll let you know, I assume, closer to the time. Soz.

September 11th, 2015 5:52 PMRogue planetso is the meetup happening or?
-
July 16th, 2015 2:43 AMMr Cat DogSort of, but not really. I'm trying to get the two of them in line, but they've both been busy this week with work. Once we've got some dates floating around, I'll let you know. (You might have to wait a while, though!)

March 5th, 2015 5:38 AMMr Cat DogCool! Good to know.
Also, if you get any messages from unknown people in the next few days, it might be on account of me giving Will your number last night when we were at a pub near his work. He said he'd be verrrrrry up for meeting you in Brighton, though! So, that's a plus. -
February 25th, 2015 7:03 PMRogue planetAiming for early June.
It's a really cool place. I felt like I was at home within a matter of days, I'm hoping stay there for a very long time. -
February 25th, 2015 1:02 PMMr Cat DogWe should! I know nothing about Brighton, so maybe it'd be better if I came to see you so that I could learn. When is the big move?
-
February 22nd, 2015 6:07 PMRogue planetyeah i imagine the rym charts are practically identical. never understood the love for pulp fiction mysef either, as good as it is.
nice. I miss London, but I love Brighton so am looking forward to that. We should get together with Adri again some time. -
February 20th, 2015 2:58 PMMr Cat DogIt's mostly the list itself, which I find is an interesting balance between the typical young-white-dude-cinephile mindset (the stupidly high placements of Pulp Fiction and The Shawshank Redemption), and the more obtuse stuff that would be at home on a Sight & Sound/Cahiers du Cinema list (Shoah/Satantango etc.)
And cool! Glad to have you back in the UK. I'm still in London. As always. Fun times! -
February 20th, 2015 1:09 PMRogue planethey. yeah im familiar with letterbox'd but mostly use rateyourmusic for music and film.
i'm back in the UK, currently in Falmouth but soon to be in Brighton. hbu? -
February 20th, 2015 7:36 AMMr Cat DogIf you're interested in a slightly more arthouse top 250 films list, I'd check this one out. It's not perfect and has its own biases, but it's light-years ahead of the IMDb top 250. Your precious Stalker, for example, is at #35 - I cannot stand it, but understand that I'm in the cinephile minority on that one! - and there are two Bela Tarr films in the top 100 alone!
Also hi. Are you still in the Netherlands or back in the UK or somewhere else exotic!? -
May 20th, 2013 12:58 PMRogue planetAwesome! It's at the garage, opposite Islington tube, 2 stops from Farringdon. Doors open at 7 but gig doesnt start until 8.
Give me a text tomorrow if you're not sure now. I've already asked everyone else in the office and nobody can go, so it wont disappear. -
May 20th, 2013 12:56 PMMr Cat DogHopefully yes to both. When and where, for the gig? If I'm out of the office in time, then I'd love to join you.
