July 28th, 2011 2:52 PMMr Cat DogMake that DID live in Cornwall? (Stalking your friends gave me the impression that you still live there.)
-
July 28th, 2011 2:45 PMMr Cat DogI've heard of, but know nothing about, Boohbah. Bjork is the correct answer. I've added 'you' on Facebook now... didn't realise you lived in Cornwall!

July 28th, 2011 2:41 PMRogue planetBe glad you were too old for Boohbah as well, that was some weird stuff.
Icelandic voice and the fact you posted about her in currently listening? It must be Bjork! Look out for her new album coming soon.
I honestly don't know how everyone finds me; add away, but I don't really use Facebook.
I'm going to laugh if it isn't actually me. -
July 28th, 2011 2:36 PMMr Cat DogI was slightly too old for Teletubbies when that came out, so I'll have to take your word for it on that one. It just seemed weird from the clip I watched.
Also, I think I've fallen in love with a 45-year-old Icelandic woman whose surname resembles an annoying volcano. Just thought you should know. And I also think I've found you on Facebook. Do you mind if I add you? -
July 28th, 2011 2:35 AMMr Cat DogSearching for Pob on YouTube brings back no memories; only strange video clips.

July 27th, 2011 3:05 PMRogue planetI had a PlayStation 1 which was my favourite by far. Then an Xbox which was okay and 360 for a brief time which was good when I had people to play with, not so much after. But most of the time I stick with PC. I'm not avid either compared to others, but I've still played quite a lot.
Oh wow I totally forgot about Funnybones, I just looked it up and suddenly memories come flooding back. I used to like this a lot. There were books of it as well iirc.
Another freaky show, Pob. I never knew what to think. -
July 27th, 2011 3:00 PMMr Cat DogWow. The only consoles I've had have been Nintendo ones. (My brother, in contrast, has only had Sony consoles.) I'm not an avid gamer by any means... I just have this strange loyalty for some reason!
Also, looking for Spider clips on YouTube led me to Funnybones and Zzzap! - both of which I'd forgotten about completely. I see how Zzzap! may have terrified you, but I think I just found it more confusing than terrifying. Funnybones has a catchy theme tune and Griff Rhys Jones' voice for everything, nothing more. -
July 27th, 2011 2:44 PMRogue planetWell I have a GBA! But I got that in 2007, and only played Ruby. Then I got a DS last week and I've been playing my brothers copy of SS and just bought Black too. Apart from that though my Nintendo gaming has been limited.

July 27th, 2011 2:42 PMMr Cat DogAnd you're on a Pokemon forum? Iiiiiiiiiiiiiinteresting!
-
July 27th, 2011 2:40 PMRogue planetHahaha, I remember ZZZap! used to absolutely terrify me because of all the weird characters on there. Also there was a show with a guy wearing a thick suit, and where his face should be there was just a black void with purple eyes or something, can't remember what the show was but had constant nightmares.
Never played Zelda! It never really appealed to me. Plus I didn't have any Nintendo consoles. -
July 27th, 2011 2:35 PMMr Cat DogI think it was just the image of Spider's massive face in the opening credits that did it for me. That might be the reason I didn't like the Deku Tree level in Ocarina of Time (and then subsequently stopped playing any and all Zelda games). However, to this day I can still remember the 'Spider in the Bath' song.
-
July 27th, 2011 2:32 PMRogue planetahh, that's a shame; I really enjoyed Spider. I think it was the weird songs that did it. I look forward to Brum though! I originally thought your current avatar was Rosie from Rosie and Jim, but then realised it actually looks nothing like Rosie.
-
July 27th, 2011 2:29 PMMr Cat DogBrum's a goodie. Spider kinda scared me when I was growing up... I'm not afraid of spiders in general, but that one did not sit well with me when I was about 3-years-old. Brum will happen in the future, though.

July 27th, 2011 2:12 PMRogue planetPlease could you be Brum or Spider (in the bath)!?
