I was lucky...I got a flawless Japanese Ditto in a trade. I haven't done any IV-specific breeding yet; I'm not really into the competitive thing as much. I wonder if my Lv.72 Zoroark (received in Egg form) came from it, however; it is just a beast.

Granted, this is in Gen. V. My prior message was for Gen. IV.

Haha. I've had five or six turn up in SoulSilver on Route 32 while training. I caught three of them. I figure they make good trading material for someone without much to offer. #winning

Yeah, I needed a Pokemon-based username but also in Japanese.

blolz...take advantage of the Route 10 Audinos and trigger/fight them for a while. Once you're AT LEAST Lv.54 on all Pokémon (trust me, Ghetsis has Hydreigon at that level, otherwise he's Lv.52...I'd ask how, but he also has a Lv.52 Volcarona), then go back and challenge again.

Also remember in N's Castle you can warp to the Pokémon League healing center. From there, you can go wherever and do whatever until the final battle. You can't reenter the PL itself until after the end of the story, but you can warp back to N's Castle from the same spot. One room of the castle does contain a PC, so also pimp yourself out for the E4 fights and have others trained in the wings to trade in via PC.

Tornadus and Thundurus are the annual "roamers" for the B/W games (coincidentally, with Landorus, not in B2/W2 but can be traded into said games, each adopting a second Forme). My Tornadus experience began 10 minutes before midnite, and I decided to just weaken it on a couple of attempts as I knew it would be the end of "evening" soon; sure enough, at the new day, it headed around to the Lacumosa/Undella/Black areas between Routes 12-15 - none of which were available to me yet (and even if they were, I would surely be crushed by anything there except perhaps the wild Pokémon, but they were National Dex entries in any case).

While in bed, I thought about Watchog. I realized Mean Look would stop the runaway.

I had flown to Nimbasa before going to bed, and went to the PC first thing in the morning to collect it out of Box 1. I headed to Route 5 and went back and forth to trigger the storm, then went hunting. Of course, the storm came and went as I got other battles too, so I said screw it and wandered aimlessly for a while. It came up, I used Mean Look, and started going after it with Hypnosis and whittling down its HP with Super Fang. It somehow defeated Watchog and ran on the next turn (Mean Look deactivates when the user switches out). I went to heal and came back for a second go, and managed to get it. Storm over, off to train for the E4.

And yes, that Dragon Gym was a piece of cake. Told you it would be. :D

Yeah but Kurt could have found someone better than Blaine. Idk. Blaine overdoes his singing and facial expressions. :\

I also really like Coach Beiste. She's cool. :]

Oh me too! I cannot wait until the 4th season! Omg I love Sue too! She is too darn funny! And I do like Brittany too, she is hilarious with her dumbness!
I love Puck, Rachel, and Quinn too. I loved Kurt in the first season, but I started not liking him when he started dating Blaine. I can't stand Blaine nor Finn.

Yup, Scraggy evolves into Scrafty and learns moves like Brick Break, High Jump Kick (both fighting), Crunch, Faint Attack (both Dark), Chip Away, Rock Climb (both Normal), and Head Smash (Rock type, but way up in the 60s, ignore before the first E4 unless you REALLY want to grind but I don't recommend the move for E4 purposes).

I did take Scrafty in at something like Lv.53 or Lv.54, but also rotated my Pokémon because the odd move is known where unexpected that can take Scrafty down. Look up guides and figure out opponents Scrafty should NOT battle based on known moves, and cycle other Pokémon in there. Despite the dual type, I also recommend having another Dark type in the mix. I believe I also took one of the Musketeers with me; I think I chose the Rock/Fighting Terrakion (found in Victory Road after encountering Cobalion, his area is sealed off otherwise, and all three Musketeers are part Fighting FYI with Virizion sharing Grass and Cobalion Steel).

The offer for a Zorua is still on. I'm going to breed one for someone else, so this is your chance to acquire one. I can even deliver it with Pokérus; that lets it train its EV levels MUCH quicker (double speed in fact), and you can spread it to all of your own Pokémon by keeping Zorua in your party while doing other battles (just make sure to keep something in the PC so you don't lose the disease). As a note, Pokérus is rarer than Shinies, and I found Pokérus first; got my first Shiny on Emerald the other day. :)

Haha, yes. If I may give some advice, if Scraggy isn't on your training list...TRAIN IT. It's both Dark and Fight types, and that means it can learn moves to take out both Psychic and Dark types. The problem is, it will need to be strong enough to OHKO the Psychics, or their moves will completely wipe it out due to the Fight type. Ghost types are also weak to the Dark type.

The reason I note this is because I just named all four types of the Unova E4.

Meanwhile, if you don't have a Zorua, get one. It learns a LOT of Dark moves and is a handy Pokémon against the Psychics. If you want that, you must trade for it. Speaking of Zorua, my Zoroark knows Faint Attack, Foul Play, Night Slash, and Night Daze, the last being a signature move of the pairing learned at Lv.64 and with base power 85, and with STAB being much higher. If you ever want to trade for one, I can breed it with the flawless Japanese Ditto I got via a trade and have any specific type of stat automatically at its maximum base amount for the bred Zorua, and since my Zoroark is at a high level, Night Daze might come with it already as well.

Don't worry about EV training until after the game. It doesn't mean anything until you're prepping to battle someone else's super-powerful Pokémon, and you are going to be fighting all sorts of Pokémon that will ruin your EV training until you clear the bulk of them. Of course, you can always just never use those Pokémon.

BTW, trade a Pokémon with someone who has Pokérus and get it traded back shortly thereafter. Pokérus doubles your EV stat gains. Translation: your stats max out much faster and you get stronger quicker. I happen to have Pokémon with Pokérus; the idea is to get everything in your PC infected, then keep some permanently in the PC until you want to infect more. I'll eventually someday infect my entire PC a second time, but I cleared it once and can do it again at my leisure since I have some Jellicents that never see the light of Unova now that they're mine.

The berry guy quickly fell out of my routine; I never used the berries because they were so rare. I'm currently growing fields of them in Emerald and my daily regimen will involve harvesting them. I will tend to plant wherever I go at that moment and plan to be around for a while, but I can always backtrack and plant the 2-4 day growers in remote locations. Since most berries usable in battle take a maximum of 12 hours, I have 7 fields in Route 104 North that are my harvesting grounds right now. But yeah, not being able to grow them in Unova is a huge bummer.

I didn't do the Driftveil Move Lady until after the E4. Don't know why, didn't realize it was there immediately.

You will LOVE Nimbasa City after the E4. There will be a LOT more people hanging around the stadium grounds with super-tough Pokémon. Note, again, they will all be in the 60s.

About Me

  • About Jiggly Jello
I am far from what you would consider a "normal individual" and I like it that way! I am not known for having many opinions but when I do, you know it's something I'm rather passionate about. I'm fun loving and easy going. I have a very strange sense of humor and an even stranger way of thinking. Don't try to understand how my brain works, your head will explode if you do (and besides, you'll never succeed)!

Some random things you should know about me:
    01. I have a thirst for an aggrandizing vernacular and enjoy utilizing it when I commence a dialogue.
    02. My obsession with the character Mandorallen from The Belgariad tends to cause me to speak using my limited Archaic vocabulary.
    03. I don't like to BS people, ask me a question and I'll answer it to the best of my abilities.
    04. I just started playing Pokemon for the first time ever less than a week ago and I have only played Pokemon Black so far.
    05. I am incredibly shy (This applies to non web related relations only.)
    06. I am tall :p
    07. Don't attempt to discuss religion or politics with me. I will have very little, if anything, to say.
    08. I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and although I may not see eye to eye with someone, that does not mean I will try to force them to accept my way of thinking. I may give you static about what you believe (the non serious issues) but I will never mean any ill will by it (this means you Beliebers and Twihards!). That reminds me...
    09. I am an adamant hater of Justin Bieber and ALL things Twilight.
    10. I thought about adding a 10th item but decided against it.

Three things that really irk me the most:
    01. The mispronunciation of foreign words used in American culture
    02. Poor grammar (there is a difference between 'your' & 'you're'),
    03. People with superiority complexes,

If you want to know more about me, you'll have to ask.

Oh, and I live with a group of flying purple monkeys. Their leader's name is Sigmund.

Feel free to check out my strange attempt at delving into the world of blogging at http://wolffanatic.wordpress.com/
Music: Evanesence (I am in love with Amy Lee!!), Everclear, Nickelback, Matchbox 20, Linkin Park, P!nk, Taylor Swift (yea, I said it, I won't deny), Jewel (pre country Jewel only). I'm open to new music so long as it's not bands like Lamb Of God. And no modern country! I am very selective about this and only rarely do I find any other country artists I like. I only listen to 90's era country music.

Movies: A Knight's Tale [ultimate favorite], Little Miss Sunshine, Buried, The Avengers, The Dark Knight. I'm open to watch anything but Westerns, most 80s films, horror and NOTHING by Will Ferrell. I can't believe they can pass that garbage he does off as comedy)

Books: The Belgariad & The Mallorean by David Eddings (I read this 12 book series at least twice a year, another ultimate favorite), The Southern Vampire Mysteries by Charlaine Harris, pretty much anything by authors John Grisham and Stephen King, Bleach manga, comic series Avengers vs X-Men, The Walking Dead and seasons 8 & 9 of Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

TV: Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Bones, Glee, House, True Blood, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, The Glades, Dexter, Futurama, 2 Broke Girl$, The Big Bang Theory, Criminal Minds (I love Penelope!)

Anime: Shin Chan, BLEACH!!!!! (not the US version w/ horrid voice acting), FLCL, Trinity Blood, Samurai Deeper Kyo.

Games: Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy Legend II (for the...GAMEBOY! lol) almost any other Final Fantasy (not counting X-2 *shudders*), You Don't Know Jack, Grand Theft Auto series, Oblivion, Skyrim (this is a future prediction as I have yet to play it), Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas (another prediction here), Resident Evil 5, Red Dead Redemption, Bioshock series, The Sims 3, Age Of Empires III, the Fable series, Portal, Where's My Water (addicted to this!), Angry Birds. If it's open world or RPG I'll probably like it. I abhore ALMOST ALL FPS, especially the Call Of Duty and Halo series. The only exceptions are listed above.

    Also computers
    The Null Void
    Male ♂
    Computer Troubleshooter
    Also Known As
future ex husband of Amy Lee & Alyson Hannigan
    Favorite Pokémon
Jigglypuff. This does not mean I like to play using Jigglypuff. I have yet to do so. It is my favorite purely because of its personality in the earlier cartoon series.
