Oh! HHN, duh. Haha I thought you meant those cool little ones that people set up through their house sometimes. Yes, I have been to Howl-o-Scream at Busch Gardens. It was pretty fun, but nothing to go on about. There is one maze thing called "Alone" where you go through it...alone. I want to do that. xD

No, but I always felt like we should make one of those since our house is always so decked out. I loved going through those as a kid.

I agree that morality is something we come up with. That doesn't mean it's meaningless or completely relative. On the contrary, the fact that the vast majority of some 7 billion people have managed to agree on at least a few basic principles suggests that there's inherent meaning in some of those principles, that there's some some "right answer" we can all agree on (or at least a "core" that we can all agree on).

Moreover, just because something is made by man does not mean it lacks meaning. Nihilism, which is the general idea of this post, is basically a thought not taken to its conclusion. Yes, our lives probably have no greater cosmic meaning, but that simply means we're free to make our own. Our lives mean whatever we want them to mean: we're free to do whatever we think is important, whether it be personal happiness or something else entirely. That we feel something is worth doing is reason enough to do it; we are our own masters. That is the ultimate kind of freedom, in my opinion (pedantic arguments about technical determinism be damned). To be frank, I don't how anyone who has ever derived joy from anything could say that life has no meaning.

So yes, I'm wholly opposed to abandoning morality. Maybe we haven't found the right answer yet, maybe no one has and no one ever will, but the pursuit teaches us things and even the partially correct answers we have come up with serve to better protect the things we've collectively agreed are meaningful (put simply by one person, long dead: "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness," though that is by no means a perfect list). Cosmic meaning is utterly irrelevant to the question of whether our lives are important. They're important to us, and that's what should matter to us.

Haha, I know. Although I do eat it on Halloween at night, because A.) When better to do it? and B.) When better to have nightmares? xD

I love candy corn; especially the pumpkin ones. I love Nerds. There's just something about their fruity taste that is addictive to me. I also enjoy Twizzlers, sour gummy worms, Crunch, Kit Kat, and 3 Musketeers. I'm sure there are a bunch that I'm missing.

Ah, makes sense I guess. A lot of people seem to think that. My costumes are never anything much, just basic stuff like vampire, dark angel, etc. But it's still definitely fun to dress up and eat candy/other good food. :3

Do you enjoy Halloween, yourself? any particular reason why your mother doesn't like it?

I didn't know about it either, until this year. It's kind of nice to know that others like Halloween as much as I do. xD

It's all good! I'm going to a Halloween convention at the end of May. I'm honestly really excited for that.

It was a girl who used to be my friend and whoever she knew. That's who I usually went with. Don't really have anyone to go with though I'd probably still have an okay time if I went by myself.

Yep, Metrocon is here. It's a huge anime convention. I've been to it twice, but didn't really go with the right people. So overall it was an okay experience.

I think they work better locally then online, and I don't care if online isn't present.

It's just... when I have a game that's online multiplayer only it annoys me because I can't play with people next to me. I'd imagine the reverse could be true for those online dependent. Doesn't mean the experience is preferred

I think co-op's co-op. If it's online only, that really sucks. If it's local only, that's okay but online would be a nice addition

I bought myself a new webcam from Best Buy yesterday. It's a 1080 HD webcam that can take pictures and has two built-in mics for voice chatting. I plan to use this to chat with someone special on Skype, who also uses a webcam, but if any of you also have Skype and a webcam and are interested in chatting with me, feel free to add me, but be sure to let me know who you are when giving a contact request, because I've had contact requests from spambots in the past.

Ever since I've watched XY060, I've constantly kept seeing that "gruesome" scene regarding Serena's hair, and it's been haunting my memories to this day. I tried thinking about Smash (particularly attack animations and voice clips of Bowser, Bowser Jr., Little Mac, and Shulk) to get out of my system, but it somehow keeps coming back. That episode has been affecting my concentration at college, losing my focus. My heart was recently aching a bit after I woke up, which could symbolize...

I'm dealing with a difficult choice that would affect my time at my new university. There's another math class I'm suppose to take, called MATH 413, in order to complete my major, but it's only available every odd year during Spring semester. My adviser never told me about this class, only recently by my Advanced Calculus professor, nor was it listed with the other math classes during my registration two weeks ago. Now I have to crash that class by Tuesday afternoon in order to add it to my schedule....

If you're a theme park enthusiast, then you'll probably know that Selfie Sticks are becoming all the rage these days, to the point they're being wrongfully used by people during rides and shows. Not only do they bring a nuisance to other guests trying to have a wonderful time, they also bring a huge risk factor to both other guests and the owner using it. It's becoming a major concern for fellow ethusiasts, so they're preaching for these parks to ban these items for the safety of these tourists....

I seem to be having some bad luck when trying to buy Majora's Mask-related limited editions. When it was announced that Majora's Mask 3D was getting a limited edition Skull Kid figure, I had to Gamespot the day after to order it, only until I was informed that they were out of stock. Then when it was announced that the New 3DS is getting a Majora's Mask theme, I head towards Gamestop at the time it opened and tried to order it. The employee was having trouble getting my order on the computer due...
