It didn't ring a bell as a move I didn't already know, but yeah, I got that. I would have looked it up first otherwise. I just wasn't aware there was a move that did such a thing, I registered it as something like a stat buff but holding down spacebar in a pokemon hack I rarely need to read the debuffs on my pokemon.

As a disclaimer, my reply is not meant to sound like a smartass (seriously, I talk that way without knowing it sometimes), as it's not a very common move. However, I will recommend in the future using sites like Bulbapedia - heck, just use Bulbapedia - to look up moves you don't know anything about when you first see them. If the move isn't there (like a move made up and only used in that hack), then there's likely something about it at the start of the thread. An example is Lavasurf (HM05) in Light Platinum.
