That was IGN Boards right? Anyway, you may or may not believe this , but I read from One Latias to Elements in about 3-4 days. And have you heard about Dr. Mack Foxx on Deviant Art and on Fanfiction.net? His stories (more like books, 100+ pages long) are called The Village Guardians chapter 1-4.

P.S. The stories are 100+ pages long when printed out.

Okay let's see, good you're still alive, and by the way how's "Elements" going? I would love to see more of Elements!

The Kindle is nice to read one once you get use to it. I'm still in the process of getting use to it though (almost there). I finished OL yesterday afternoon, now I have time to do other things... like work on my story which I tired to do last night, but due to work injury I was wearing a wrist brace and typing was slow and painful. I got 220 words before I gave up.

I think I may have found a decent opening. The plot is ever changing currently. I've been thinking about this story since spring of 2008, and everything I start thinking about it again something in the plot changes. Did you have this problem? If so how did you get through it.

The thing I like about ff.net is the ability to refine searches, I can search for stories with certain Pokemon in them, with a certain about of words (eg 100K+) etc. I figured if the author has posted at least 50,000 words then the story has a good chance of being at least decent.

Well I finally finished that class... didn't do nearly as good as I wanted. I passed with a C, and that is the lowest grade I have ever received at College. While I'm glad to be done with that appalling class, I wish I had done better. It is my fault for falling behind, but the last lab was ridiculous. :/

Oh well, can't do anything about it now. I'm planning on Catching up on OL and any other fictions that I follow that are updated between now and when ever that occurs. Once I catch up I plan on re-writing my fiction. I still need to come up with an opening without it being too cheesy. I want to jump right into the plot, it’s a little on the long side so the quicker I get to it the better. However I don't want it to seem rushed either. Uh the decisions....

The Kindle is awesome. I've already found my next textbook and started reading on it a few minutes a day just so I have chapter one (at least) done before the first day of class. The Kindle is much more portable than a text book, it’s also a lot easier to hold than a text book too. I can easily slip that into my lunch box and take it to work and use my break / lunch time more productively.

I too like txteclipse's story, too bad it’s only sitting on chapter 24. One of the hardest things to do as a reader of fan fiction is separating a good story from the demented delusions of some horny teen, or the fantasies of some twelve year old who has never heard of grammar before in his /her life. For that reason, and to make sure the story is actually going to go somewhere I tend not to start reading a story until it’s been around for several months and received good reviews. I use reading fan fiction as an entertainment; I don't want to be bored while trying to entertain myself.

My first chapters where small too, I'm not sure how long the last chapter I posted was. It was decent in length though. I'm not sure if I'm going to post my new story on this site or not. I know I am going to post it on fanfiction.net though. Probably get more views there.

Well now that I've rambled on a little bit more than I should have on one of my pet peeves, I guess I'll leave you with some links to stories that are good, done/almost done, and the author still posts. Neither one of these stories include Latias or Latios, but they are still good reads. 460 words of my 1000 word quota are now done.

Pedestal - Average Journey fic, kind of bloody, the protagonist has the worst luck ever. Last chapter has been posted, just waiting on epilogue to be posted. *NOTE this story is over 500,000 words long, it will take a while to read. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4871317/1/Pedestal

The Language of Life (author's summary because I can't think of one) Based primarily in the Johto region, The Language of Life follows the journey of eighteen-year-old Eve Addamson, a girl with the unique ability to talk to pokémon. Along with Basil, the pichu she has been friends with for years, she will learn more than she ever wanted to know about the politics, legends, and religions of her world. But as she becomes more and more involved in the workings of her region, she finds that her safety is quickly disappearing. Though she will undoubtedly gain many allies - both pokémon and human - throughout her journey, will it be enough to protect from the fate that history would give her? - http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6211115/1/The_Language_of_Life

Stir of the Thunderstorm - The first fan fiction I ever read. Really got me hooked into fan fiction. Set in medieval times. Can be found on PokeCommunity, but I like reading on FF.net so http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1999302/1/Stir_of_The_Thunderstorm

Well I'm almost caught up, I have to have everything in by Thursday, so I guess I'll have some free time then. lol

I've done the 1k words a day challange before and it worked good a week. >.> Along with writing more, I need to visit the Gym more too. I pay way too much to no go. I guess I'll just add that to my big o list of **** to do.

Actually I'm planning on setting down and saying okay this many hours for this, and this, etc. I'm waiting till the end of this week, when I'm done with this class, I only have a couple of chapters left in the book, but I still have the lab manual. Planning on knocking it out by tomorrow (its pretty small). So far its been pretty easy too, just declare a variable or two and compile the program. As long as it doesn't have me write too many programs from scratch I think I'll be good.

Do you read fanfictions, or just write, if you read what is your current favorite? Also do you use msn?

You have no idea how close I came to spewing cereal all over my computer when I read that part in parentheses this morning.

I haven't had time to read it here lately, I have a 700 page text book staring me down at the moment. Fall break is coming up at school and I hope that I can catach up on fanfictions.

I know what you mean when it comes to seeing your old work. I still have that story that I got four chapters in before I just kind of fell of the face of the world on. I plan to get back after it once I'm not so busy with college. I probably just need to manage my time better.

No problem on the comment, I left it half thinking you'd never see it. I'm glad your back into fanfiction. Pokémon is great and all, but to be honest fanfiction is what keeps me in the fandom.

I'd love to chat, having a conversation with someone who thinks outside the box when it comes to Pokémon (aka fanfiction authors) are alot of fun. I also find them very stimulating. Feel free to chat about fanfictions, Pokémon, technology, or any combination of the formerly mentioned. You are free to chat about anything really, but I may not be a very good conversationalist in other topics.

(That is by far the longest response I've ever type to my phone)

Hey, I saw that you visited my profile which reminded me about your fic.I've recently discovered FanFiction.net (I've always known about it just nevervisited it much) Anyways I wondered if it was posted somewhere else so I Googled your fic to see if was. I found this. I had to lol when I read a post by txteclipse
Hopefully some of your otherfans will Google your fic and find it here.
I'm currently on chapter 9, and I gotta say it’s quite interesting to see your progress as a writer from chapter 1 through 9. I can't wait to finish it.I just wanted to stop by and say that I'm still a fan of your work. Peace.

A lot of what you're saying holds true for me as well. The Chronicles just don't feel like they apply anymore. I've sat on the story so long that I'm bored with it and nitpicking what I've already written, and I'm not feeling connected to it all like I once did.

Simultaneously, however, I still love writing fanfiction: it's just that I'm more into one-shots now. They let me get in, say what I want to say, and get out. I have some original stuff going as well: I'm doing NaNoWriMo again this year, so that means two novels including last year's that are at least started and could be developed instead. Maybe it's time for a shift of focus.

So. It seems our respective fics have pretty much died. I never really thought I'd say that I had lost interest, but I think it's time for me to admit it.

Oddly enough I still feel like I'm not done. But I've felt that for nearly a year now, which speaks otherwise. I need either a revolutionary new way to think about this, or to just give up. It's...depressing, I guess, that I feel more inclined to do the latter.
