I have let my profile become a jungle and seemed to have overlooked this kind and caring supportive message right in front of me. I'm sorry for not responding sooner. Thank you so much for your positive thoughts. I am doing well right now, and hope that you are too! I think your well wishes have helped me. I'm sending good energy your way now.

    Have a fantastic weekend!

Ah, thank you! I'm promise it's not *that* bad but I'd rather not push myself.

I appreciate you bring patient and understanding with me. Likewise, it's not personal! I just tend to.. not prioritize things appropriately and personal conversations slip away.

But as for your previous message, I completely agree about your assessment of the herping community! Damn if some of the people aren't the most elitist, 'holier than thou' group of individuals out there. Endless criticisms about "that enclosure is too big/small", "there's not enough/too much humidity", "You're not allowed to handle that!!". It can be very tedious involving oneself in these circles! I personally just love these misunderstood creatures and believe that providing an adequate living arrangement can come in many, many forms. There is no right or wrong answer as long as you and the animal are happy. <3

I also relate to your passion for arachnids. I was so terrified of them that I wasn't able to walk between two solid, vertical structures outside. Entering doorways, walking between trees, parked cars, all over fear or their webs -- not even the spiders themselves. When confronted with an actual spider, I'd lapse into an irrational panic and not be able to take my eyes off of it. I believed that the only thing worse than a spider you can see is a spider you know is there and can't see. your story about that wolf spider would have had me hyperventilating and passing out at my computer. ..My phobia actually controlled a large portion of my life and kept me from doing things I wanted to do. It got to the point that going outside was a challenge so I decided to try exposure therapy. I educated myself. I learned. And my perception changed entirely! It was the humble jumping spider that first converted me -- I was so charmed by their big eyes and petite bodies! Once I became aware of their behaviors, habitats, and ecology I found my fear was replaced with curiosity. It took about a year but I was able to work myself up to where I am now; loving spiders and bugs, keeping them, admiring them, and generally doing my part to make my home a little nicer for spiders. :)

It was through the T hobby that i was introduced to the invert community since the two tend to go hand in hand. Again, it was hard for me not to be charmed by reptiles and amphibians despite my fear (though, I was less afraid of snakes). When you pay attention and begin to decode their behavior, you really learn how expressive they can be! And I just love that.. I feel like I'm connecting with something so ancient and primal, you know? I dunno, maybe that doesn't make sense, lol.

I'm sure that mama wolf spider would forgive you knowing you've come around to being compassionate towards them. <3

Just letting you know that I did read this and I will write a proper response when I have the time to give it the attention it deserves!

One thing you will learn about me is that I am terrible at getting back to people in a timely manor. Please forgive me!

Haha, that’s precisely the motivation I need to end up with more blue tarantulas than I can count! But really, that is the coolest thing I’ve heard all day. I’m genuinely impressed, I didn’t expect to find a proper snake handler on PC lol. Do you do any breeding with your pythons? It’s great to hear that you do something with the skins too — you’re really a man of many talents, huh?

They sound like a gorgeous bunch! I’d love to see pictures some day. Gaboon Vipers (and any hot really) are way out of my league but damn if they’re not some of the most wicked awesome little beasties! I love their attitude, I love their disposition, and they’ve got some of the most amazing scale patterns I’ve seen next to the eastern Diamondback. Do send some love to your dear pets on my behalf!

Lmao, wow, you hit the nail on the head! Hognose are a personal favorite of mine and I ADORE their little faces and how they’ll flatten to look like tiny cobras! (´▽`ʃƪ)♡ In fact, if I wasn’t getting ready to move in the very near future, I’d already have one. Have you seen the Arctic Superconda morph? An absolutely stellar specimen of a snake!

What inspired you to get into snakes? Were you motivated to overcome a fear like with T’s or did you always like them?

So glad I found someone who appreciate inverts. <3 The Suntiger is such a gorgeous T! They can definitely be quite spicy, I hear. :) Those are pretty intermediate/advanced species -- I'm really impressed! I have my heart set on a few different species but the Brachypelma emilia, Poecilotheria regalis, and the GBB are some personal favorites. Though truthfully I'm probably gonna end up with a G. rosea like all first-time owners lol. If you were to own a true spider, what kind would you get? I don't think I'd be able to turn away a Huntsman if I found one, haha.

Gasp! What kind of snakes do you have? Any neat morphs? Tell me everything! I'm currently not raising any snakes but I've done my share of raising Corn snakes in the past. I'd love to rescue a Spider ball python or one with some kind of disability some day, give it a proper loving home. <3 Would be thrilled to add a Leopard Gecko to the family too!

    !!

What kind of spiders do you own? Right now I have a little Zebra jumper that I’m keeping. Wild caught, unsexed, but I suspect male. Do you have plans on getting another tarantula? If so, what species?

Sorry to bombard you with questions but it’s not common to find Pokémon fans in the hobby lol.

Thank you for that. I started it last year as a special set I did for Admin Sheep (hence the name) after finding out that she's a fellow anime/manga fan who mainly listens to anime music. Then I uploaded that set to my Bit Chute channel and after seeing the response for it I decided to make it a regular series. It was a weekly series but internet access continues to get more and more expensive here so I am not as regular as I used to be (it's why I have been asking for support so I can cover that internet cost and continue the series). Take your time as you catch up and please spread the word about CES. I'll keep it going for as long as I can.
