  • i asked can you be asm hacker for my team

and the second part asked do you know english but that question is answered
ciao Pensate che si può essere asm hacker per la mia squadra

sapete come fare a parlare inglese, perché sto ancora imparando l'italiano
02020649 is the pointer to the main player's overworld graphics in FIRERED. Do you know the pointer to the main OW's graphics in Ruby? That was what I was asking. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for pointing out what was wrong with my script. However I thought I'd tell you that the solution was incorrect, I needed to change "goto" to "call" because if I did it the way you solved it the last part and wouldn't take place and the player's steps wouldn't be reset.
Ok thanks, I'll just use MM_X's Day/Night system cuz it works for me now.

So if I want to check the clock if its like.. 7:00 PM I would do comparefarbytetovar to 02024f46?

Sorry if I'm bugging you lol.
ehm... I'm sorry to disappoint you, but weather hasn't different palettes... weather's palette are the result of mathematicals operations...
Uh... really there's not GOOD tutorial on ASM in my opinion xd
Oh, I just meant that each weather has a different palette. For example, the rainy weather changes the palette of the maps, does it not? So pretty much using real time clock to check time requires ASM right? Man... I really wish there was some GOOD tut on ASM..xD
I just answered you in "script help thread"... However, making day-night is not simply at all... you have to know ASM.
P.S. There's not "wheather palettes..." what are you meaning?
Hey Andryandrew. I got a question. How do I make a script that checks the clock of Ruby? Or how do I check the time in Ruby or make scripts using the real time clock of Ruby? I'm trying to learn that right now but I can't understand it... it's all full of setvars and commands.. You think you can help me out? I was thinking of making a cheap day and night script of my own by making one of the weather's palettes look like night. I know MM_X made a tool but I want to customize the day/night more. So you think you could help me out with scripts that deal with Ruby's clock?
to make a new map is very difficulty... it's ASM, but i think it took me months or years to do that...

    For Day-Night, i think i release a tool soon
Ok, thanks. When you're done can you make a tut on it or an ips patch?

Also do you use HEX or ASM to make a new item? Like if I want another world map in Ruby or Sapphire, is that asm or hex? or is it even possible?
