Hi strangerhypno, I just learned that you were leaving the forums, and I wanted to drop by to let you know that it's really sad to see you go. You were a great member on our forums, and I'm glad we got to play tons of PokéTrivia games together over this past year! I hope you'll come back to visit us again sometime. =)

I hope you'll give it a try. All of the people talking at once can be really dizzying. I feel like my fingers are never fast enough to respond, these ol Milotic fins are clumsy. But you don't have to participate in the chat room-like format to use Discord. You don't even have to join the pokecommunity server if you don't want to it. You can just talk to a friend privately like we are doing now. That is usually what I do. Private messages fit me more.

I understand if it is not for you. It was intimidating to me too, but then when I realized that you could seperate yourself from the hustle and bustle, and just talk privately to a friend I grew to love it.

If you do try, well you know where to find me. I'm going to miss you very much. Sad to see you go!! You're such a pillar of the community and cool friend. You are big part of why PC is a fun, active place.

But if you are no longer interestested in pokemon than I hope you have a good time doing the things you do love. Neverland's doors will always be open to you here if you change your mind.

Thank you. I noticed you mentioned you were taking a leave, which I find greatly sad. I enjoyed reading your perspective on Smogon, it didn't come off as rambling to me since I gained insight. If you ever decide to return, I'll give a response in full.

I may be wrong, but I noticed you expressed a dislike for Smogon as it dismisses so many Pokemon as useless.

This Youtube account is rather interesting, he takes many of those "useless" Pokemon and uses them on Pokemon Showdown in the higher tiers. The commentary is relaxed, although there are more factors that come in when it comes to commentating, so that's not something to judge solely on.

Have you spent much time on Discord? Its a good way to meet more people and chat intimately with them. It took some getting used to on my part, but its really grown on me. I'm Dratiniscale#5054 if you feel up to connecting there.

My holidays were a bit hectic but had its charming moments. The part I enjoyed most was seeing the happy reactions of loved ones when they opened the presents. I feel like I got everybody something that was meaningful to them.

Stay warm my friend, I think you are down south like me, but it still might cold. We've gotten our fair share of snow and ice this winter.

Also, I completely agree that it's better than Buzzwole and Pheromosa. In fact, it's better than all of the Ultra Beasts!

Don't feel bad about lazing around, as it is your personal free time for a reason. I find as long as you have something productive also going on, it's okay to enjoy the time you get for yourself.

College is okay. I'm not fond of my classes going into the afternoon. I was limited when building my schedule this time, but I'll grow use to it.
