    Hey guys, I want to tell you all of a BIG update:
    I am now starting to edit the maps after learning all I can. (No, I haven't been very active on PC, as I have a Minecraft server.) I am done with 2 out of more than 10. But once Im done, I can work on Scripts, Text, and Sprites, then the hard parts are done.
    I have edited some of the text in the Players Room to give it a newer feeling.
    I am currently editing Twinleaf, the big one, and will not be done with it for a while :/ . But I have planned and organized alot lately, so it may come quicker.
    So yeah, just wanted to let you guys know what I've been doing.

    For those (few) people that are following my progress for my hacks, I feel bad. I'm not giving too many updates, am I? Well, I'll make up for that by giving you good news:

    Due to the release of BW2, I am a little busier. But that doesn't stop me from continueing. In fact, I have now figured out how to completely hack DS maps! Team Fail has a tutorial in the Tutorials section. The bad news about that is, I need to get 3DS Max, which is a LOT of money. I'll have to work something out. We may be far from a release or a thread, but since DS map hacking is now possible, we can expect big things from these hacks ;).
    And 2000 visits! Wow!
    Now all I need is music.. and scripting... and sprites...
    If you mean the one in the buildings editor, no, but one of the future features will be that one. The tool will read the building names and display them (internal names, but better that than nothing). You can use the model viewer while it's not added, as well :)
    I'm taking a break from the pokecommunity. Don't worry for me. I dunno... I kinda grew out of this stuff. For now.... Sorry. Bye.
    I think you were changing the bytes in the same way as what I did with Pokémon Black Version 2. Diamond is different from Black 2, try saving the image and put an 8x8 squares on the image using an image editing program like Paint.NET on a new layer and put "0" "1" "2" "3" ect. and once you reach "F", then go back to "0" again. This is so that you'd memorize which squares are which when tile mapping in hex. Each byte goes from left to right on each row and top to bottom for every next row once it reaches the end of the row.

    Regarding the thread you posted, I'm afraid it hasn't been approved. I think you should spend a bit more time on it so that the screenshots you provide can show a bit more progress than they currently do. I understand that hacking DS games is significantly more difficult than hacking a GBA game, but even with that in mind, the screens you showed still show basically the same maps as the original Diamond/Pearl. I know that extensive mapping in DS games is still not entirely possible, but if you can, you should resubmit the thread showing some storyline-related events, and other things to show a bit more depth in your hack. :)
    Since a new version of a tool called " Nintendo Pokemon Rom Editor" has been released, I can work on hacking Tan/Teal's maps more! BTW, I'm typing this on my Wii lol XD( it takes ALOT longer to type than you may think)
    Cool. Unfortunatly, now we're in europe visiting family. No fireworks here (well actually alot went off because of the eurocup (soccer)). Can't wait to hear the tracks too bro.
