  • I used to hate reading, but recently I've been picking it up again. I mostly read books that have information rather than stories, but I do occasionally read fantasy and classics. I've only just started reading again though, so don't expect an epic book-list from me :P
Could say that yeah. Right now I'm trying to complete Pokémon Blue with only using Fire types. Not having too much difficulty right now tbh, but then I've got another one to do in my Crystal file as well (the Gym Leader challange). I'm the one that's going to get raped badly since I'm using Brock's team for Crystal ;-;.
    Hi there :).

As you'll have noticed, I usually just sit on the chatrooms rather than post a lot on here. I also do those mono-type challanges just to waste my time and trying to be active here ;/.

Forums better than serebii though :D
Oh wow, awesome haha, I'm gonna snoop around and see if it's something worth buying... I'm really tight on money, so we'll see how that goes.
Um... I'm not really into bands, I just pick and choose songs hehe. Bands that I listen to regularly are ones that nobody likes, such as Kamelot and Linkin Park. And thanks for teh link, I'm gonna look into this band especially. Got a lot of cool stuff there :)
Hmm, that music might be worth checking into. I can understand the vocalist, and that makes it worth listening to haha. Techno is cool when I'm working out, but it bores me if I'm just listening to it. And I understand (or, at least I'll pretend to) about the country: it's really hard to find good country music. Most of the good "country" isn't even country really. Same with music pre-90's too: my family likes older music, but I've never gotten into it :| especially the 80's.
Yeah, it's a bit weird that I don't IM, but whatever :P I don't do a lot of things for weird reasons...

And, as far as music goes, I go for anything that isn't rap or really heavy metal. Metal's fine, but when the singer's doing nothing but screaming, I'm having a hard time liking it lol. What about you?
Sorry, I'm not much of an online guy. I don't mind talking to people here, but I hope it doesn't offend you when I say I would rather keep it to this site. I only chat with RL friends as a rule.

Yeah, I'm not involved in political issues (healthcare and stuff, honestly I just don't understand it 80% of the time), but when it comes to MORAL issues (abortion, homosexuality), I start getting mad at anyone that disagrees with me. I try to stay away from internet discussions on these issues anyways: I have yet to convince a person to change their view, so I think it's a waste of time. You might have better luck, but I only argue IRL :P

I personally consider myself Libertarian, but in reality I'm more in the middle between conservative and Libertarian. At least I'm not Liberal though ;) I think I have at least very similar views on issues as you do, but I'm not one to debate about it online. I cheer you on in your efforts though, if that means anything...

So yeah, if I'm online though, I'm up for chatting with you. If I'm nothing more, you can rant to me about everyone that angers you.
Stupid wall mart and it's non-existing in Norway....XD
I gots ter go cause the places I hang in are dead. Bye and skit! XD
I can pay nothing in the attention apartment. That is one of the many places I am broke.
    XD
Yesh, you did beat Cassino....But Cassino is the only one I've noticed, cause my brain doesn't work properly and such. XD
Wow, another Mormon? Haha, didn't think I'd see too many here. And you seem to be very involved in the issues around here. A lot more so than I am hah.

That's pretty cool with your mission too. I'm going out in June, so my account will only be like 4 months old or something by that time. It's a cool thing when you learn where you're going ;)

Anyways, thanks for bothering me, I always like meeting people who share these things with me.
Lol sure. I just need to know what to say, or I need too look some of this stuff up, haven't heard some of this stuff in a while =P
...if by "many countless statements" we accept that one speech she gave at Berkeley in 2000, when she said "I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life."

Just wanted to point that out, but replying to your post in that thread would be kinda offtopic. Cheers.
Okay, frankly, your liking that "public option", it scares me. Look at ALL government run programs out there. Postal Service? Bankrupt. Medicare/Medicaid? Bankrupt. National Treasury? Trillions in debt. Social Security? Don't make me laugh. The only thing they've ever run well is the military, but that's because so far the bureaucracy has been kept out of military command and protocol. Government run health care? Seeing how it works in other countries, I may as well have offed myself if I got seriously sick, or had an allergic reaction. I'm glad it wasn't in the bill.
Frankly, all you far-leftists ALWAYS assume that because we disagree with you, we are racists, anarchists, anti-reformists, and even Nazis. Well, other than far rightists(who aren't all that great either, mind you), we don't do that. None of it. Opposing a bill that saddles us with debt makes me a racist because Obama proposed it? Hardly, I actually like the guy. He's a great speaker, and seems like he'd be a nice person to be around. There is only ONE issue I have with him: his policies. THAT'S IT.

I am of course speaking to Anti.
I don't like arguing in political threads a whole lot...I was reluctant to post at all (but plc's post was just so ridiculous in my opinion that I couldn't help myself). Conservatives will be conservatives, liberals will be liberals, and neither side will win the argument. Divisions, especially ones around strictly party lines (as this topic is), do not interest me since it's usually bickering.

As for your post, I won't respond to it in the thread, but I do believe that tort reform will only lower costs by 1%-2%? Something like that. Certainly more needs to be done than that. It should be undertaken though.

I don't have a lot else to add though. Once my beloved public option died I basically stopped following the debate and as such I've become relatively unfamiliar with the issues and controversies haha.
