I would love to insert a more diverse collection of rocks and trees, but I just can't insert any tiles properly, I always screw up my whole ROM some how. :( I also prefer Firered over Ruby in general, but I really like the Dewford town tree, the Emerald grass, the Ruby basic path and the large tree in my map. I guess I'll try again to insert them into Firered.

The bottom right mountain, is my bad, I used the wrong tile by mistake and no the back of the gym isn't supposed to be accessible, I just got lazy, I'll fix that up right away. I really like your map by the way :) I can see a few tile errors, but you were going for some Nintendo style, right?

It's much better now actually. I would suggest changing the tileset to have a more diverse collection of rocks and trees. It isn't a problem since it's really repetitive, but it really adds to the map when you went through the trouble to make it look more polished and professional.

I always had a problem with the R/S/E mountain tiles. I don't know if that rock formation on the bottom right is correct or not, but the "bottom" tiles certainly look incorrect. I wouldn't know though, I'm more used to Firered tiles, as you can see here.

Oh, and did you mean to make the back of the gym accessible? I can see a one tile wide spot where you can surf through the left side of the gym.

I don't believe that's your first map. It's too good.

But…if it is, I can only suggest adding more borders to it. The map suggests more of a free roam game when Pokemon was always linear.
