As I've learned in my High School career, teachers usually bluff about these things. If I had taken into consideration what my teachers said to not take, I would have never gotten to where I am now. I didn't do so hot in Middle School (partly because of the language issue, though it wasn't really that big of a deal), but I worked hard and did very well in advanced classes in High School, much to the surprise of my old teachers. Just sign up for it if you still can; there's no real downside.

The temperature change wasn't too bad for me, but that's because I always go outside in several layers of clothing underneath a thick jacket. The temperature drop somehow made me lazier, though. Probably because the comfy warm clothing makes me so relaxed and sleepy. D8

Just a bit, I guess. Sounds like someone is trying too hard to spice up a dull name like "Canada." There's not really a "Canadian" accent for someone around Ontario, which is kind of an extension of New York, to be honest. There might be an accent from the Atlantic provinces or Quebec, but not around where I live.

To be honest, I've only been Canadian for a year. My family moved here from the Deep South where we lived for a few years (we lived in Vietnam before that). Looks like I'll be staying here for the rest of my life, though, so it's safe to call me Canadian.
