Hey girl! Thanks for the happy birthday wishes. With some love from my beautiful friend Lina the month of September was complete!

I am doing good. Looking forward to the holiday season. Any Halloween plans tomorrow? I am headed out to watch a stage play of Dracula. I'll be watching with my witch hat on.

I'll give you the run down of all the interesting cultural history I stumbled upon after my DNA test if you feel like hearing a story. If you want me to I'll send it in a private message or on Discord. I think I friended you? I hope so!
I would totally recommend testing if you are interested. An autosomal DNA test like I did is really reasonable with rates between 50-100 dollars and covers both sides of your family. I took mine for 70. A mitochondrial DNA test is more expensive and only traces the female line, but it is even more specific. And at the end of the day you can't put a price on your roots :)

I do love to see you on PC hun. Don't be afraid to come on down here whenever you feel like. Always room for your bright presence here!

Hope to talk to you again soon,
    Xoxo

Those gifs never get old. It has been interesting whenever you showed a gif of Pachirisu to go along with your FTE actions.

I'll make a post soon. I've been kind of sick these past couple of weeks with coughing and sneezing, but I am getting better. I'll get a post out very soon and have my characters catch up to your characters. Thanks for helping keep the RPG alive with me! You're the best!

Hopefully you'll be able to balance work and college. I'm sure you'll be able to anyways. At least for me, I didn't think the workload in college was too bad, especially the first and final years of college. Good luck with college! I personally enjoyed college a lot (never really enjoyed high school), especially my last year of college.

So, how does it feel to be a high school grad? Are you planning to go to college in the fall?

Sounds good! Hope you enjoyed your graduation.

I may just decide to start a new RPG instead. It would still be a typical adventure, either in Sinnoh or Kalos. I'm not really sure right now, but I would like to continue with the current RPG for now though.

Hey girl! Now that July has come the suspense is killing me! How did your projects go? I have a feeling you nailed your finals just because I know that sharp mind of yours. Still my friend, it is time I check in with you. I have stayed away far too long/hugs/

Shawn/Dragon has sent me photos of beautiful Ontario.I look forward to Canada's museums, national parks, fine cuisine and more! There are so many possibilities, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec.

By the way I'm still green with envy over that selfie of yours. You mentioned you had Russian ancestry, and I think I can see it in your strong features. Annie pointed out that you could look like Lauren Graham. Who I thought of was Megan Fox when I saw you. What do you think?

Speaking of heritage I also had some interesting discoveries from the ancestry DNA kit I purchased. I will tell you about my family migration on discord. I sure learned a lot. I also found a lot of great black and white family photos and was able to trace my mother's tree back to the 1700s using Ancestry's record, I could go back even further... but alas it would cost me extra, and I gotta save right now. But it has been really fun taking a walk through history, learning sides of my family I did not know I had.

Thank you so much for your kind words about Olivia! She is blushing right now to hear your compliment as she is a modest Renaissance maiden!

I noticed that you like Sebastian from Black Butler. I have an outstanding Taeyang Sebastian doll. Taeyang is the male counterpart to Pullip like Ken and Barbie. He's the Kuromuksuji: Book of Circus Sebastian. I also have a doll of Ciel wearing his phantomhive dress. It is a beautiful reconstruction. These guys have been in my doll collection for a couple of years, but this week I got my paws on a new doll I found on sale from a convention, a stunning Taeyang of Grell. I was lucky to run into that convention sample doll because Grell has been sold out for years. Since Grell was unboxed on display he was cheap. Would you like to see a group photo of the three?

For the first couple of years I was here I didn't venture much into Deep Discussion (which is now serious prefix OT) because I liked keeping discussions light-hearted and fun, mostly Pokemon-related. I saw PC as a refuge from the world and life's stresses, and I still do in ways. But when I was unexpectedly modded last autumn it became more important to me to get to know other sides of the forum and get into discussions that might be intetesting.

There are some issues that I am definitely passionate about like our environment. I try to keep things civil, and stay fact-driven, but sometimes things can come across as more aggressive than the spirit of a robust debate I strive for. So I am glad if it seemed firm but level-headed for the most part because that is what I hope to be. I'll wear the mystical ninth tail seal of approval as my badge of honor :P

Hope you are having a splendid weekend! Stay gorgeous, brilliant, talented and cool. <3

OK. Looks like it might be just us now.

Congrats on your upcoming graduation! Definitely be sure to make that a bigger priority than the RPG!

    Hey there girl,

Its been awhile. I'm finally getting my act together, this response is a million years overdue!

How have your classes gone? When last we spoke you were juggling midterms, but I imagine now you have taken your finals, which I have feeling you aced! :)

I'm super excited about traveling to many wonderful faraway lands if I do say so myself. I'll be taking a journey to Cuba, Bahamas and Jamaica this winter. In fall I want to spend some time in Canada because that is where my bf lives! <3

I need to do some thread revival too. My doll club needs some cpr, especially since I am the mod of that part of the forum, I don't have any excuse! Speaking of dolls, I finally finished Olivia. I played it a conservative with this doll's appearance, and might add a little more blush or lip color in the future. I wanted her to have natural look without much makeup, but it almost doesn't read on the camera at all, especially after I put the sealant on her face, but she actually does have subtle rose cheeks and a sorta beige lip up close.

    Spoiler:

She's not perfect, but I still had a lot of fun making her. I like the big dark, doey innocent eyes and am happy with the color scheme of the dress and wig. I like the faux pears strewn throughout her hair too and crystals I stuck on her face.

I might buy Olivia a little toy lute to make her look even more Renaissance.

By the way, my Neil Gaiman books just arrived in the mail, so hopefully I will have something new and fun to share with the book club soon! You have a wonderful club Lina, remember that my friend :)

    Lots of love

Are you still interested in the RPG? It's been a long time since any of us have posted, but I am thinking about making a post to speed things along (or perhaps making a new RPG so that we can add more people).

    Lovely Lina!

    How are you dear?

    I hope all is well.

Valentine's Day is a wonderful holiday. I spoiled my sweetie with macaroons! I also have been watching romantic movies and miniseries of late. I just can't seem to get out of the V-day spirit. Each day is Valentine's Day. It might be time for me to visit the book club with a romantic novel under my arm. I don't know whether or not to start with some Jane Austen perhaps or a work by the Bronte sisters. Maybe something newer? I just really enjoyed the 1965 movie Doctor Zhivago, and think it might be time for me to visit the Pasternak book.

Oh wow! Lina's talents are boundless, you can even give a makeup tutorial and do a fine makeover. Awww. I can see why your mum is so pleased.

We have gotten our itineraries ready for Tanzania. I am looking forward to visiting the Arusha cultural heritage center where there is art from all over Africa, and the Shanga village down the street, an artisan place where they help people with disabilities, you see them making glass there and other crafts. I also want to go to Lake Manyara and see the flamingos. As an environmentalist I am really glad that the Magombera Nature Reserve has come under protection, and if possible I would like to see it, new species of wildlife have been discovered there!

We will spend a week in England and France before hand. I want to see The Phantom of the Opera on West End, and maybe then go to the real Paris Opera House in France, I would love to hear Bryn Terfel in Boris Gudonov. I like that opera, and love his rich, lyric bass-baritone. I have ambitions of doing far too many things at once, but I will at the very least view the Mona Lisa in the Louvre. I hope to catch a train to Versailles palace.

You know how Shawn and I feel about Japan!!! I think many of us here in our PC family admire the Land of the Rising Sun. The idea of choosing beween Thailand and Italy is a hair-splitting one. Oh gosh, how can you choose? Thai and Italian food are both so good, and then you have the two different but equally stunning architecture styles that feel like a walk through history. I would kill to see theater in Thailand, the dancing, the splendor of the masks, but in Italy I would enjoy the museums. Maybe I would give the edge to Italy for a gondola ride since I love the water, but ask me tomorrow, and I may make a different choice!

We will have to talk much about Rome! The Caesars were fascinating, were they not? We need your voice in TheGhostHunter's history club.

Oh thank you so much for your kind words Lina about my Shawn and I! he is a blessing to me, and I give thanks every day that such a kind, wise, handsome and hard-working man was sent to me. I'm a lucky lady!

I definitely have my quirks, but I am glad to know that my good intentions are visible. I hope you are happy too Lina, you are so beautiful outside and inside, you are strong, fun and have a brilliant mind. I think you have it all if you don't mind my saying so!

Cheers! Have a sublime weekend my friend!

    -Sam
