Wow. So, if one does not speak... what do they do? Does it get violent?

Yeah, the Hawk shows us that even being completely limp and incapable of speech is no insurmountable problem. It makes you wonder what is. So even with your anxiety, I suppose the only thing to do is keep on keeping on. Remember this tacky and yet strangely empowering quote: "Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right". A bit of self-confidence and you can take on the world.

It's a tiresome process, for sure. But ahh, there's nothing like Blu-ray.

Amazing, isn't it? Not too get all religious or anything, but there's a touch of a miracle in that. Divine intervention at its best.

Fantastic Beasts was a really great watch! I still haven't seen the sequel but I'm working on it. And yes, apparently Newt is rumoured to be an aspie. The depiction is, for want of better words, adorable and endearing. If I ever get to a cosplay event, I'll be pulling a Newt.

Unless you're down for torrents and all that jazz, I'm not sure how to acquire films. Getting DVDs is archaic and expensive.

I'll definitely keep that in mind, and thanks again.

And yeah, I was going to make the main guy have a big question mark over his head when it came to the lad with Aspergers - at first thinking him spoilt, then unsettled, and then he figures it out. More rocky that way.

He's one-of-a-kind, that's for sure. My favourite actor! Need to re-watch The Theory of Everything, now that I think about it... and I'm still traumatised over the passing of Stephen Hawking. That was a terrible tragedy, wasn't it? There was such comfort in knowing that this life houses such a genius, such an inspiration.

Thanks! That was actually really helpful. I was anxious about accidentally making the as-of-yet un-created character seem bratty or something. And its pretty cool that you're so open about it.

And I didn't know about that stuff. In all of those articles, they just said 'meltdown' and didn't elaborate, so it was easy to just imagine a tantrum or something like that.

Definitely good for you. It's nice to have hundreds of ideas swimming around, or at least it's infinitely preferable to, you know, not. Being a writer is so fulfilling, yet so.... horrible.

It's easy to get stuck in routine and start to fear everything outside of it, huh.

And I've been wondering for a while... I hear of meltdowns when it comes to people in the spectrum, and I'd really like to know what they're like. If you've had any yourself, I'd be interested in knowing the gist. Of course, it'd be perfectly alright if you'd rather not, or would prefer to be PM or something. I don't mind. It's just that when I do write up a character, it'd be great to really be familiar with the whole thing.

Neat idea. Disorders of the mind are bloody fascinating and I'd love to befriend some people with Asperger's and the such in real life - learn everything I can and write a book that does them justice.

... but only a week left to the event and I'm mentally barren. Pray for me, lmao.

Same. I'm always antsy and unfulfilled when there's no story in my soul. Very unpleasant to eat breakfast with, too, and I keep telling everyone to shut up.

But yeah, good idea! Roleplay seems like a lot of fun. I just can't hack the commitment.

So nervous about performing in front of people next week, though! I've never even sang in front of my family other than a short karaoke stint and a chorus of Old Lang Syne, let alone read out my own narrative in front of thirty strangers. Well, twenty strangers. I met about ten people today and they were all sensational.

Got to write like mad and get a short story down! It can only go on for five minutes, so that's one hell of a limit. And I'm competing with other people on my own accord. Going to blow them away, hopefully.

Maybe you just need to wait it out. We all get those moments, and a solid break from it can prove to be just the trick. Unless a more aggressive tactic works for you, of course.

Something wild happened to me today, and it's all explained here. Needless to say, I am panicking.

Same. Whenever I'm angry, too. If I put on my headphones and listen to some familiar tunes in my deepest rage, I'm soon back to normal. It's an all cure.

Go for someone downright intriguing, I'd say. Someone startling. Throw some doubt in love's path - keep the readers, imaginary or not, guessing whether it's a sure thing. It's not really enough just to frown at each other at the beginning and swap invectives. My past mistakes in that area have pretty much traumatised me, lmao - I'm scared to try again, especially if someone close to me will potentially read it.

I'm in a phase where sexuality bores me to tears and I want it to evolve or die.

Yeah! Every cloud has a silver lining, and I know we shouldn't sugarcoat things so that it's easier to wave away and ignore, but let's not live under the idea that every soul with a disability is tortured inside out and have no prospects or friends. And imagine everyone who was freshly diagnosed, and how all they can hear are horror stories and diatribes about the awfulness of the condition! That'd be outrageously depressing, wouldn't it? Like, I had a diabetes scare earlier this year and I came home and researched it, and it filled me with despair and dread. I was shaking. So I reckon no account of a condition should be given without a reminder that the only unbearable thing about life is that nothing is unbearable, and that pure darkness doesn't even exist. Otherwise you're just scaring people.

Bit tired so I might be typing rubbish. Goodnight!

Sounds pretty interesting, and I like Elle. Saw her in Super 8 and she was darn cute. I'll try and check it out, but right now I'm trying to get Frank. I saw the trailer and it looks like a riot.

Nice. Go with the flow. Writer's intuition never lets you down, really. If it feels right then it is, and I'd be interested in reading disability type stories. I'd love to see the positives, especially - all you ever hear about is the darkness, which is understandable and probably correct because it offers insight, but it'd be great to explore another side of it.

I really want to make a character with Asperger's but I don't think I understand it properly yet. The extent that it affects behaviour... I mean, they describe them as being 'active but odd', so you think 'just make an oddity' but the story isn't worth anything if you're not being true to the condition.

Oh yeah, and I'm going to make a character with Tourette syndrome for my next story. Might include the 'swear uncontrollably' aspect of it, but maybe not. Well, hell! Let the adolescence break through! Swear away!

... yeah I'll see how it goes.

I've heard of that. I think it can make you pretty groggy the next day, though, but I don't imagine you'll be operating heavy equipment - like driving a steamroller through town, lmao. Just take it easy.

    Anything new been happening?

It sounds good, so keep at it! It might pan out. It's basically just finding the right vibes and letting them guide you on, isn't it. A while ago, I thought I'd ditch a story but i stomached the doubt and it worked out brilliantly. Semi-brilliantly. Well, horrible, but it was fun. But yeah, sometimes you have to give it up to pursue a better idea. Just follow your instincts, really.

I've got to go out soon and attend some writing/storytelling classes. Yowch. Terrifying.

Well, the name's Kimi. No, I'm not Japanese. The origin of my nickname comes from my favorite rugrat named Kimi Finster. Kimi is also short for Kimberly, which is my real name. Please call me Kimi though. :3 I am diagnosed with a high-functioning form of autism. There are times when this can cause me a great deal of social anxiety. You'll have to excuse me if I don't interact much.

I also have ADHD and Severe Generalized Anxiety Disorder. This often creates a lot of stress for me. :c I do my best to be as strong as possible though and be the happiest person I am meant to be. I love to make new friends too, so don't be afraid to add me!

I'm a strong believer in music saving lives, seeing how it's saved mine many times. I wouldn't be here today if not for the power of it. Music has shown me that I'm not alone in the world. It has helped me through a lot of tough times in my life and showed me that everything will be okay in the end!
