Alright, will do. Currently using HGSS style tiles/characters. BW allows more freedom but I dislike the style. I will be reworking a large sum of tiles in the coming months. I do like the character template of BW to an extent but there are minor things I might edit. I am torn between fakemon as to whether to include them or not. I am thinking of only adding a few pre-vo/evo fakes and nothing more. I will message you the major edits later. Good to see youre back :)

Figured Id drop ny and say hey bro. IDK how often you still get on.... Havnt gotten new compy yet so dusk version is collecting dust on my desktops hardrive lol..... If I can get it to a broadband area just one and get the ntiles serv code thingy I would be fine..... I was looking forward to working on it with no distractions while waiting on my new compy..... Yeah, my game's going to take ages, but I do have some very nice concept designs at the moment. I also have several ideas that I've not seen in any other game around, which should be fun to reveal.

I think I'll gather people into a team once I get the game already half-made. And by "team", I pretty much mean artists. I want to be able to make the game myself, and having other people help out too be just a bonus (rather than necessary).

I'm not going to have a touch screen. I think some people are too eager to mimic the real games, even though they're in a different format (handheld console versus computer). No, I'll be trying to optimise my game as a computer game (which means more use of the keyboard, bigger screen, etc.).

I can't help you with your banking system, because I'm not really a scripter. I presume the basic workings of the interest system will be to check your bank balance every X minutes (10?) and multiply it by, say, 101% (for 1% interest). I don't know where common events like that would go, but I can vaguely see how you would go about checking that often.

I haven't really progressed far enough to have a definite name. I need to stop being lazy and get some serious work done (it's quite daunting).

I'm not bad, thanks. I'm technically making a game at the moment, but progress is hideously slow. I want to at least get all the menu redesigning done before I announce anything. I have an outline of most of the plot already (which is written more like a semi-walkthrough instead of a "you save the world" short summary like that). If it all goes the way I want it to, it'll be great.

And yes, I also lurk around Game Development, occasionally helping people out with the easier questions.

Me and 2 others from college (and one business man) have set up our own game development studio.
We have a few iphone projects on our road map.
We only officially start this week. We were getting organised over the last few days- like getting a look around the offices and what not.
Don't worry, I'll still be working on Protectors as a main hobby.

The development on my game was at a halt while I finished college. I'm all finished college now so work will start back up.
I don't know of any scripts as I use Rm2k3 which doesn't support them.
