I'm hacking Pokémon Emerald (U) and the background that I'm changing is normal grass background.

When I insert the palette and change the pointer, the game gets a black screen when I enter a battle

How do you insert the grass battle background palette correctly? When I insert it into the normal offset some colors dissapear.
