I've given the Multiverse forum a cursory glance, but I'm more interested in plot than I am in world-building. Don't get me wrong, I love me some good world-building, but I treat it more as the backdrop for some good conflict.

And a universe centered around a complex political system would make for a fascinating read. Let me know if you get started on it.

Hah, in college and am slowly recovering. I had a rough start with my classes, and my high school academics didn't put me to the level I needed to me for my major (physics). Had to drop physics 1 and another elective to stabilize myself. Holding together, but still have time managment issues. Here is a tip: don't work 40 hours a week up until the first day of college. I commute by the way, and have had a bit of car trouble too.

Good luck with your endevers xD remember to enjoy how easy highschool is, because it will get harder.

That political ideology is a bit repetitive, rightfulness and legitimacy appears 4 times. You could shorten it by replacing "“bad” is the failure to achieve long-term rightfulness and/or legitimacy" with ""bad" is the failure to do so". And that last part could be cut off entirety...? Although that's just being nitpicky lol. I wish government would follow that standard.

Well, that's quite the political theory you got going there.

Looks like I'll be joining in the Halloween bash thingy in the fan-fic section with Bay before going any further on new projects. Should be loads of fun.

There was a cough. Someone shifted their footing, and another scratched at his ear. The knights and holy men gathered in the tent to discuss battle plans. Gregory scratched at his bearded neck as he often did, which irritated Samuel to no end. "Would you stop that?" he hissed at the younger knight and slapped his gauntleted hand away from his face. Samuel's own hand was well armoured in kind and the effect was a nice resounding clack. Chief Diocese Jerl sniffed and wiped his nose with his finger and stifled a cough. Jerl viewed the knights with disdain and believed they were only a perpetuated, but necessary, evil. "Let's move along with this, shall we?" he sneezed at the tail end of his sentence and nearly worked his way into another coughing fit. Holy knight Armond de Sonnac sighed, and laid his gauntlet atop the battle line map stretched across the table "Gentlemen... stop." The bickering between the knights and bishops died down fairly quick soon after he spoke, and several eyes began to regard him. Armond pointed and traced the map with his middle finger, and due to an unfortunate battle years prior Armand had lost well over half of his index finger in defense of the holy order. "We're all here for a very real, very serious threat." Armond furrowed his brow in frustration, he garnered much respect from both sides, he was a veteran knight of several decades and a devout soul in the eyes of the church and yet he felt like he was nothing more than a glorified wet nurse. Without precise focus, the summit would devolve into who said what to whom and petty rivalries and jealousies would surge to the fore. "The Necromancer has revealed himself. We know from which direction he marches." Armond glanced up from the map to make sure he hadn't lost anyone's attention "He marches from the Piërdth mountains." there was a burst of clamour from the group and a cry from the collective mob "Nothing! Nothing can survive the Piërdth mountain range!" many shouts of approval were drawn from the comment "Be silent!" Armond roared, and his order was received with immediate result "The dead do not mind the cold. They march willingly through the frost and winds the death mountain throws at them without hesitation." A sudden dawn of realization crested several of their faces "But... but there aren't any keeps or- or castles near the base of the region!" one of the priests stammered "No, there is not, Father. That is why you have all been summoned here. The Necromancer goes where he pleases and whenever he chooses." Gregory stepped forth and marked the map with his own fingers "But if we cannot halt him at the cursed pass then that would mean..." his gorge rose. The Piërdth mountain range had no need for a well guarded pass. Even in the middle of the hottest summers, the pass would bellow out a chill that crystallized the closest greens, causing them to become brittle and glass like and freeze bite any animal that had mistakenly garnered too close to the maw of the mountain "Nothing has ever come from death's jaw." Samuel whispered this as he glanced up from the map and looked into Armond's face. "Nothing, until now knight. The Sallikc Plain is not an ideal defensive position. There are no walls, no natural rises in the land to provide cover, or advantage. There are no major landmarks. Just farmland" Armond knew that more than a few knights had originally called the Sallikc Plains home many moons ago and privately wondered how many of them were truly worried about their distant family members. "The Necromancer corrupts as he goes along his campaign and it's only by blind luck and divine mercy that we're even aware of his march's direction." Armond made a grand sweep of the map, drawing the full effect of what the Necromancer's unhindered progress would incur. "He leaves nothing, for he needs nothing. The castles in his marching directions have poor defenses due west for the specific reason that the Piërdth mountain range lies in he west." There was a sniffle and a wet cough "Death's Jaw indeed" Chief Diocese Jerl muttered.

I've seen you around the playground mostly, but also PGC when then post-off was taking place.

I just got home from a mini-holiday to Blackpool (it's a seaside city in England) and it was pretty cool! They have this on event every year called The Blackpool Illuminations, where the entire city gets decorated with different colour lights and stuff. It looks really pretty at night :3

Oh cool, you're into politics? I'm British so I'm not too sure about who I would vote for if I was 18 and lived in America. How about you? It's fine if you want to keep that stuff private though :D

You like Man with a Mission? Same! I normally like electronic music, but I also like a bit of Gorillaz annd Nirvana.
