I'm about to upgrade your gift of surprise badge from bronze to silver. I have to take the old one away first, so I can issue a newer, nicer one. Hold on tight, here goes! :)
I have 4 badges, 3 titans, and 2 bases. Which is quicker than I usually pace in new pokemon games. I did the water gym too early. Realized it had higher levels than the electric gym. I didn't know anything about the new pokemon, definitely some are better than others, per usual. Tinkatink felt weak.
I do like the games so far. Hoping they smooth out some issues. My game has been locking up rather frequently. I can fix it through hitting the power button and reentering the game, but it's an inconvenience.
I received my first stiches from a cyst removal around my shoulder at the start of 2020. It wasn't horrible. I was on my stomach and couldn't see most of the process. I recall it being more weird feeling than painful.
How do you feel about the games so far? I've done two badges. I'm not very quick with Pokemon games. I have trouble playing them for long sessions.
Well, some people have stories of rebounding after such an incidents. However, I never roller skated again. It was required in school once, that was the only time I ever put the skates back on.
How are you feeling now? At-least you have the operation over with. It must feel like a weight lifted. But yeah the broken wrist could have been avoided. I fell down while roller skating. Should have stuck with the railings. Got too bold and went down the middle of the rink. Next thing I know, fractured bone and 6 week recovery.
Are you planning on playing during release day? I imagine it might get harder to avoid spoilers after it comes out. Images begin floating around. I haven't planned any teams, but I'll probably pick the water starter.
I haven't seen any leaks. If makes you feel better, apparently there are no humanoid 4 legged creatures in the starter lines, what from I've heard.
It's okay. Hope everything goes safely and well for you. I took a bad fall outside yesterday. Have a history of clumsy falling, with two previous bone breaks. Didn't happen this time, but the way I hit the ground it didn't feel too far off. Never liked the preparations for that either. (needles and them needing to feel the break).
Yeah drifting is a problem for me right now. Overall haven't been able to relax much since going out on the actual main roads. Been told it gets easier, but as things currently stand, it hasn't. Pure nerves hit the moment I pull out into the streets.
Well, it's not long now for the new games. The final starters leaked but I haven't seen them. Guess I'll just wait, but if I get spoiled before the end of the week it's fine too.
Been practicing at it with my parent. It has been okay so far. Local roads here don't have heavy traffic so it makes things easier. Nervous when starting, but it seems to fade when the car is in motion.
Are you looking forward to the new Pokemon games? While Pokemon isn't my favorite franchise (that would be dragon quest), I think Pokemon has the most fun pre release.
I'm behind on VM's, sorry. Thanks for the badge. I hope you had a nice Halloween. Spent Halloween morning getting a driving permit. Passed the test with a 23/25 score, but felt exhausted after. The line of thinking about the hemisphere makes sense, although I think a good portion of newer users here are younger.
Not really. I wasn't aware there had been codes. Gen 9 releases in 17 days, didn't know they would still do that.
From what I'm gathering, October is not the usual time for these get-togethers. I'm assuming these are normally in the Summer. But yeah I had to adjust my posting time for the forum-trivia spotlight. Usually it was over when I logged on in the evening.
Hey thanks. Kept busy enough. Visited a gamestop for the first time in a while. The prices reminded me why I started preferring digital/online purchases.
I checked out some of the videos you uploaded. Congratulations on 66! I hope you had fun with the get together this year.
On a short hiatus. Death in the family. Lacked energy for the last days of the event and haven't felt like making any posts. I'll be around the forum again soon.
I burned out on Hyper Jump. Played it way too obsessively and now don't have the energy to go beyond a few attempts. Oh well. Felt I was finding methods to get consistent high-scores. Not all the obstacles appear at once, so making sure the homing bomb and triangle are gone was first priority. Sometimes homing bomb like to spawn straight towards you. There's an RNG element.
I noticed you had top scores with a wide margin for everything. No motivation to even contend it. Unless I thoroughly am having fun like with Hyper Jump. Had a small hope that more of the games would be reflex based.
It has certainly been fun. I never payed much attention to the get togethers despite 5 years on the forum.
I can't play toss it efficiently. I think I'll need a mouse for that kind of game and right now I'm stuck with a laptop touch pad.
I think our scores go to the same team too. Admittedly I didn't bother checking. Becoming less interested in the score, more interested in seeing if this game ends or what kind of hazards start showing up.
I couldn't even see what new obstacle happened at 60 because I got killed fairly quickly.
