Hey! Yeah, I haven't been on any forums in a long time either -- I've been really busy with school and life, and most of the time I'm not motivated enough to write my stories. But I do feel bad about leaving a trail of incomplete stories in my wake, so I'm going to try to write this summer, even if it will be slow. I haven't touched a game in ages, though.

Oops, that was actually supposed to be Sycamore Maybe I should I go add in something like "Can you believe that guy was in charge of handing Pokemon out to ten and eleven-year-olds?"
Ah, okay. Yeah probably a good idea to add that. True Sycamore and Lysandre are pals, but I think Lysandre knows a few other people too lol.

Pokemon Sword and Shield are the 8th generation of Pokemon games, and the first main-line games on a home console system (if you don't count Colosseum and XD Gale of Darkness as main-line, as most fans classify them as spin-offs,) the Nintendo Switch. These are also my first Pokemon games since X/Y, since everything in between looked bad even from the trailers and announcements. Pokemon Sword and Shield are controversial to be sure, but the two areas I feel I need to discuss are (two of) the game's characters and the game's end-game "legendary disaster" plot. Both were poorly handled by the game, and the game's failings in these respects deserves some examination.

When we last left off, Lisa had just successfully battled Rose's entire security force of exactly ZERO grunts.

So, Rose is accompanied by some sort of... skeleton dragon Pokemon? Thing looks freaky nonetheless. Anyway he talks about his plans for energy gathering, sounding a lot like Queen Beryl.
