I just want a snorlax as the title sprite and if you know how I'd love the version to say the orange islands
Sadly I don't know how to do that either I just edit mine with a sprite editor. The best I can do if it's emerald is give you the intro offset number for his intro sprite
Ah, well that explains it. Yeah, I'm not going to change my profile pic because someone hasn't seen the best Jim Carey movie. I'm of the opinion his best work is when he's painted green.
Nightwing is good like that. He's what Bruce can't allow himself to become because he lets the early tragedy ruin his sense of fun. He's the extreme, whereas Dick has the benefit of seeing that extreme and finding the right balance. Dick is Bruce if Bruce had a mentor, and I think Bruce knows that-I believe he even said Dick was a better man than him.
I'd like to act, but I'm not willing to roll those dice. Maybe someday I'll try to get into improv or something. I'm a fan of comedy, so what I've been doing is trying to write stand up material. I've got a few bits so far with the goal of having a solid five minutes at the end of the year to try out on an open mic night.
I read All-Star Superman when I was pulling myself out of the gutter and it totally jived with me. He's a god who wants nothing more than to be the best man he can. His powers are a duty, a responsibility, and in the hands of most other people they would be a liability and a terror. He always does what's right, even when it's wrong or to his disadvantage. When I think of god I like to picture Superman. I mean if you think about it, Jesus was like what a bunch of disillusioned Jews and jaded Greeks would consider a super-man; turning water (a gamble for most of history and many countries today) into relatively safe wine, raising the dead, healing those with death warrant illnesses, making sure there was plenty of food, as well as pointing out the hypocrisy of the theocratic aristocracy, urging people to think before they cast judgement and acted irrationally in an attempt to stop violence and provide a measured justice in a time when our animal nature ruled over the better aspirations that our developed brains are capable of. Of course, like Superman gets a little twisted by incompetent writers at times, so too was the legend of Jesus of Nazareth by incompetent writers who never met the man (pointing fingers at Paul, who himself was part of not only the Jewish aristocratic elite but a Roman citizen as well; he could have blended his dual heritage and instead used it to his own ends-when I think of the false prophet and an anti-Christ, Paul immediately comes to mind.)
But that's enough about my religious thinking. Dick Grayson is an ideal man, Superman is an ideal god.
And finally, Episode 2 was dope. The entire last third of the movie was awesome, I love the clone wars. Didn't care to keep up with the show, but Geonosis and Kamino are my favorite Battlefront 2 maps. My favorite scene in the prequels is when Anakin slaughters the sand people-he was right. They were savages, and KOTOR kind of confirms that. I always slaughter them, light or dark side.
Oh, one last thing. Superman won't lose sleep at night over Krypton... but he does lose sleep at night in every canon where he can't save Pa Kent. All that power, and he can't prevent a heart attack. Even travelling back in time with the Legion of Supermen can't stop it. Hell, not even 5th dimensional Superman can't stop death. It's tragic, and it's beautiful. I know what Snyder was trying to do in MoS with Pa Kent, but a heart attack would have been better. Hell, keep the tornado and all that, maybe it barely misses them, but in my book Pa Kent always dies of a heart attack.
What a simple and intriguing message. Laugh out loud. What exactly are you laughing out loud at? The insecure narcissist in me thinks you're lacking at my hack, my profile, or me as a person based on what you know from my posts here.
But that's just me being a little girl.
I suppose it could also be a greeting of sorts, I'm not up to speed on how people approach each other online. I've always been something of a throwback, myself. My dream job would be running a farm in the old west, somewhere off the transcontinental, occasionally joining a posse to round up some outlaws. None of the evils of our post industrial digital age, just good, honest hard work and unshaking faith in a distant and mute god. So forgive me if I am misconstruing the message presented.
So, what's up Nightwing? I gather you're a fan of Dick Grayson. I fell out of comics some time ago myself, but who doesn't like the Batfamily? I'm more of a Superman fan myself, though my favorite comic was Top Ten, which was much like Law and Order if it were set in a city of superheroes. Check it out sometime, written by that nut Alan Moore himself. Did you enjoy Watchmen? I did. I heat BvS is getting awful reviews but I never paid much mind to a bunch of writers who never sweat in the summer sun or hurt themselves trying to get more work done than possible.
Don't get wrong, I'm not some old creep playing pokemon. I'm just a young man with a girlfriend who thinks pokemon is for kids, putting as much effort into hacking as I do my real job. Which sucks by the way, because I have to sweat and throw out my back every day for a pittance. Makes me wistful for the rustic old west. I used to hitchhike, that was the closest I ever came to an outlaw lifestyle. Good god, you don't know freedom until you've woken up in the Arizona desert one morning and gone to sleep on the Pacific coast with nothing but the charity of strangers to your name and a dusty old backpack.
So, for what purpose do you contact me, NightwingJay?
