I should warn you to watch out for certain users at the Pokémon Anime. One of the users you're debating with at the Death Battle thread is a common there.

That's not what I meant about improving his team. He could've kept Goodra and not catch a Noibat to prevent half of his team from being weak to Ice. The purpose of Noibat was to replace his Goodra to fill in his Dragon type slot, but the problem is that Noibat is also part Flying, and they can't give him a Tyrunt due to never owning a fossil Pokémon ever.

Responding to your post about the Pokémon anime getting better because of shipping and his Kalos team. He has a team of THREE flying types, which puts him at a major disadvantage. Also, it was mentioned back in the early 2000's that romance has no place in Pokémon, for it would distract the main focus of the anime, which is the bond between Ash and his Pokémon. I would say the anime has gotten better up until Episode 60 of the Kalos saga, where things took a turn for the worst (Ash releasing his Goodra and replace it with a third flying type, and Serena cutting her long hair, which was her only beauty factor in her design).
